Guardian Angel
By Black Twisted Soul

GUARDIAN ANGEL

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------

A heavy sigh exited from your mouth. Your head rested on your hands. You ______ eyes were glued to nothing but the never ending white that surrounded you. Some of you ______ hair covered part of your face. White wings blossomed from your back. You sat Indian style on the white fluffy cloud. Letting out another sigh, you swiped your hand over part of the cloud in front of you.

A boy with long red hair and green eyes appeared where you had just swiped your hand. You saw him laughing with some of his friends. Tears filled your eyes. You wanted to be alive again, but that would never happen. You put your hand over the boy as if to touch him. You long light blue gown covered your hands and most of your body. Green ribbons were wrapped around your arms, waist, and legs. The gown only went a little bit past your knees. The ribbons on you legs were from the sandal straps.

"____________! What are you doing?!" Someone yelled.

You jumped a good five feet in the air and the boy and his friends disappeared. You placed your hand over your heart so it wouldn't fly out of your ribcage. A man with gold cat eyes and raven black hair was walking up to you. Enormous gold wings sprouted from his back.

"Keith. What a pleasant surprise." you had no emotion in your voice. But there was a hint of annoyance.

"What do you think your doing?" Keith folded his arms.

"My job. The thing you never do."

"I doesn't look that way."

"Well lets see... you scared me half to death. So of course I'm not doing my job."

Keith 'hmp'ed and stormed off. You rolled your eyes and swiped your hand again. The teen appeared before you again. You mouthed the word Kurama. This time the boy was fighting a demon. Deep gashes covered his body. Fresh blood poured from his new wounds. His famous rose whip was in his hands. The demon fell into hundreds of pieces. As chunks of the demon were all over the forest floor, Kurama fell to the ground.

Again tears filled your eyes. You couldn't do anything to help him. You were stuck in heaven with jerks like Keith. Your head snapped up when you felt a strong presence. It was your father, the head of heaven and the person who tells people who's guardian angel they are.

"You want to help him don't you." he asked.

"Yes. But I'm stuck up here watching him suffer and there's nothing I can do!" you were crying harder.

All the time you were watching over him, you developed strong feelings for him. He was so kind and caring.

"Than go help him."

You turned around, surprised he would say that. And his tone of voice also surprised you. He was so calm, understanding, and gentle.

"Continue watching him from the ground." your father smiled. His green eyes danced with happiness. His gray hair was spiked a little.

You nodded and wiped away your tears. Yellow light surrounded you as you were teleported to earth. You were placed in the middle of the dead demon chunks and mere feet away from Kurama. As you were slowly walking towards the fox demon, he began to stir. He lifted his head and looked at you. His green eyes burned through your soul. His eyes followed your every step. The green grass around him was soggy and crimson. You kneeled beside him and placed one hand on his head and the other on his back.

As you started to chant, he started to glow blue. The blue glow spread all over the forest. The demon chunks disintegrated, the blood on the ground around you two disappeared. Slowly Kurama's wounds began to heal. During the chanting, Kurama passed out.

Day quickly changed to night. A raging fire lit the dark, quiet forest. Kurama's sleeping body laid next to the fire. You sat on the other side of the fire, trying to keep warm. Heaven was always warm. You began to drift into sleep. When you woke up, a green blanket was placed around your body. It was the same blanket that you had put over Kurama. Then you noticed he was gone. Your heart sank. You kept him alive and he just left with out saying thank you. You thought he was so kind and caring. But he just walked off.

"Oh. You're awake." Someone said behind you.

It sounded so familiar. Than it hit you. You turned around and saw Kurama with two apples in his hands. He had a warm smile spread across his face.

"I went to get food, and I didn't want to wake you." He said as he walked over to you and handed you an apple.

"Thank you." Was your short and quiet reply.

Next thing you knew, Kurama's lips were on top of yours. You dropped you apple and kissed him back. After five minutes. You both pulled away for air. Both of you turned away blushing like crazy.

"That's for saving me." Kurama smiled, his face also turning three shades of red.

You smiled and embraced him in a hug. That was your way of saying your welcome.

"What's you name?" He laughed.

"________, and you are Kurama." you were finally able to talk to him after so long.

Up above, your father was cheering. You had finally found your place with the right person. And you were truly happy. Some tears escaped his eyes when the two of you first kissed. Your father was now yous and Kurama's guardian angel.

THE END.

So tell me how you liked it. Should I do a sequel? If I do, it won't be a one-shot like this one.
