Pick Up The Phone
By Hallie Vengeance

Hallie blinked at the blinding the light filtering through the thick draping red curtains and rolled over. Her brown eyes shot open as she hit another body, “WHAT THE FUCK??!” She had no clue why another body would be laid up next to her in her apartment.

Ronnie jumped and slid off the edge of the bed, smacking the side of his head on an end table on the way down, “SHIT!” He jumped up and looked down at her, “What? What's wrong Hallie?? Are you okay???” She blinked and smiled sheepishly up at him, “Sorry Ron… I just didn't remember you guys stayed last night…” Just as she finished her sentence Jacky ran into the room looking frazzled and disoriented, “Where the hell? Oh… Did we sleep here last night?”

Hallie opened her mouth to answer, but as she did her black iPhone began to blare out Sink Or Swim by Falling In Reverse and her eyes widened as she reached over in haste and silenced her alarm. “Umm… Sorry about that, I guess you did. I'm not too clear on last night either.”

Jacky's smile made her slightly nervous, but she didn't bother with it, “Hey, I'm gonna get dress so could you disappear?” Jacky shook his head and walked away. She stood out of the bed in her lacy boy shorts and matching pushup bra, she walked over to her mahogany dresser and pulled out a black tank top and then proceeded to pull it on before walking to her closet and pulling out a pair of light tight bellbottom jeans. Ronnie's eyes were trained on her as she turned and smiled, “Like what you see Ron?”

“Hell yeah baby girl!” He smiled and rolled out of the bed, smoothing his shirt with his hands he pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her forehead. She grinned and pulled away. She sat softly at the vanity table and began putting on a light dusting of makeup and fixing her soft brown curls. She slid a clear lip gloss over her full pink lips and stood skipping into the living room before Ronnie heard her shriek.

“GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY XBOX!!!!!!!!!!”

Ronnie laughed and walked into the room before busting up and flopping down on her couch, “Dumbass….” His smile lit up the dull room and she wished that she could be with him at all times. She turned her attention back to Jackie, who still had a tight hold on the controller, “Now!!” She glared and he nearly ran from his place on the floor next to it. She took a deep breath and smiled at him, “You wanted to talk to me?” Jackie nodded again and followed her into her room, “So what's up?”

Jackie sighed and sat down on the bed and looked up at her, “I kinda want some help getting this girl. Her name is Rita and she lives around here and I just I'm not aware how to get… HER ya know?” Hallie nodded and smiled, “Don't you worry about that sweetie, I got ya covered, kay?” He nodded and skipped out of the room, she laughed and shook her head as Ronnie walked into the room with a smile and kissed her forehead, “I'mma go for now. I`ll totally call later though.” She nodded with a soft smile and walked the guys to the door. She waved as they all drove off in their cars… Well, things seemed to be changing for her.

She pulled out her cell phone and dialed Rita's number with a little grin, she was not only an employer, but she was also a matchmaker now. She smiled hearing the girls chipper voice on the other end of her phone and spoke to her as if they were old friends, telling her that she was inviting all of her new employee's over for a barbeque, giving the address and telling her to look nice. She repeated the process with the other woman and looked around the large apartment happily. She needed to get everything set up and then she would call Ronnie and tell him her plans.
