We Were Making Do...
By Beth_foREVerA7X

Quite a short chapter, but I suppose it kind of nicely leads on to the next chapter…Which will be posted as soon as this gets a few reviews :)

Disclaimer: If you hadn't guessed already, no one in this story belongs to me, and these event most probably haven't happened in real life…

Me and Jimmy were sitting in the sofa in the tour bus, he had his arm around me and I was leaning into his side.

"Arggh, this movie's crap." Jimmy moaned, turning the TV off completely and throwing the remote onto the table. I laughed at his mini-tantrum. The room fell into a comfortable silence and I leant my head into Jim's chest, closing my eyes and enjoying the silence; which of course was quickly broken by Jimmy who couldn't stand silence.

"Sooo....You looked pretty comfortable with kissing Brian yesterday." I squeezed my eyes shut, inwardly flinching at his words.

"I was drunk and we was playing the game...seemed like a good idea at the time." I made up as an excuse, regretting kissing Bri.

"Okay." Jimmy said, not sounding like he believed me one hundred per cent. "You know, we all noticed that you and Bri suddenly started spending a lot of time with each other the past year." Jimmy started. He just wouldn't let it drop. I lifted my head up from his chest and sat up straight, but leaving his arm wrapped around my waist.

"What's you point?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. I looked him in the eyes but he wouldn't let anything slip.

"I'm not stupid, Jay." He said, tilting his head and moving his hand to run through my hair, then bringing it down to rest on my cheek. I bit my lip and looked away from his eyes, still not being able to tell him the truth, although I'm pretty sure he'd already worked it out. "You're sleeping with Brian." He stated, letting his hand drop from my cheek. I quickly panicked, looking up to his eyes, which were now fixated on the floor.

"Was. I was sleeping with him. Not now. I love you Jim. And Bri loves Zacky. Neither of us would cheat." I quickly rambled on, trying to convince Jimmy I hadn't cheated. His eyes stayed downcast, looking at the floor. "Jim?" I managed to choke out before my voice broke. He looked up to meet my eyes, sadness shining out of them, making me feel like crying myself.

"You haven't slept with him since we've been together?" I quickly shook my head. "You swear?" He asked again. Instead of answering straight away I wove my fingers through his hand which had been on my cheek, and used my other hand to weave through his hair and pull him closer to me so that I could kiss him lips. I tried to show him how much I loved him through that kiss, slowly moving my lips against his, parting my lips and running my tongue along his bottom lip. He opened his mouth and I pushed my tongue in, our tongues dancing together slowly. I pulled back to break the kiss and leant my forehead to his; staring in his eyes.

"I swear on my life." I answered; honestly. He gripped my hand tightly and kissed me again.

"Why?" He whispered. Why what? I thought in confusion.

"Why what?" I said, voicing my previous thoughts.

"Why were you sleeping with him?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Because I couldn't get up the courage to tell you...And Brian had convinced himself Zee wasn't gay...So we were just making do with each other I suppose."

"So, you didn't love him then?" He asked, looking a little bit happier than before. I laughed.

"No I didn't. I didn't love him and he didn't love me." I admitted. We both knew we were only together for the sex.

"So if neither of you loved each other, then you must have just been together for the sex." Jimmy said, voicing my exact thoughts. I gave a quick nod, confirming his thoughts. "So...Who's better in bed?" He asked, giving me a mischievous grin. I laughed a shook my head.

"Hmmmm, I think Brian is." I said, grinning back at him. Of course I was lying; Jimmy knew that by the tone of my voice.

"Nothing I could do to change that?" He said, kissing my lips and then moving down to bite my neck.

"Y'know what? I think I need more experience of sex with you before I can make a fair judgement." I mumbled as Jimmy pushed me so I was laying flat on my back in the sofa. He laughed at my comment, his warm breath lingering on my neck. He straddled my hips and leaned down so that his body was over mine, using his elbows as support as he continued his assault on my neck. I locked my hands in his hair, keeping his lips locked on my neck and hooked one leg around the back of his, trying to pull him closer to me. He bit my collar bone, causing me to moan and involuntary bucked my hips against him. I felt him smile against my neck so I rubbed my hips again him to make moan too and I smiled.

I felt him try to unbutton my shirt but he gave up after a couple of seconds and made do with ripping it open; sending buttons everywhere. I laughed at his impatience and shrugged the shirt of my shoulders before any more harm could come to it; luckily it wasn't a favourite of mine otherwise Jimmy would have been in trouble. Me and Jimmy both froze and looked to the door as we heard the handle turn. The door was pushed open and Matt walked in, before freezing when his eyes found us.

“Ohhhh god.” He mumbled, covering his eyes with his hands. Me and Jimmy both grinned, trying to contain our laughter. “I'm going out alright? Call me when you're finished.” He turned and quickly walked off the bus again, closing the door behind him. Jimmy laughed and I looked up to meet his eyes.

“Poor little Matt must me very mentally scarred by now.” I said; grinning.

“It's his own fault, should learn to knock.” Jimmy said, before lowering his head kissing me, continuing with his previous task, forgetting the brief encounter with Matt…
