Good Girls Bad Guys
By Hallie Vengeance

I smiled at the woman I had just finished interviewing for the job and stood shaking her hand.

“We'll be in contact dear.”

She smiled happily and walked out the door with her bad slung over her shoulder. I knew that she was in. I liked her, her name was Rita and she stood at 5'5, three inches taller than me. She was in a pair of nice grey slacks with a black crew neck top with a grey business jacket over the top, and black pumps. She had a white smile and several piercings. My first thought as she walked in was that she was perfect for the job.

I sighed softly as I called for the next person to come in, she was tall, taller than the one before her. She had a wonderful smile and she seemed very happy.

“Hello, I'm Hallie.”

“I'm Gen!”

I chuckled softly and shook her hand as we both sat on opposite sides of the table. I took a deep breath and put on my smile, talking with her and asking questions about the job, she asked me what she would be doing, things about the job.

“Alright darling, thank you for applying we'll be in touch.”

“Thank you so much!”

I nodded and she walked out of the small room. I gathered my things and walked out as well, locking the door behind me and jumped into my pick-up, making my way home. My heart skipped a beat as I heard Ronnie Radke's voice blast through my speaker system, So he was serious when he said he would start over? I bit down on my lip as I heard his sweet voice fill me with happiness. I didn't know how long I sat in the car and listened to the song, but I eventually exited the vehicle and went into the small apartment that I could afford for the time being. I knew that the two girls were in and maybe I would have some others apply. I gingerly sat on the bed and pulled up my iTunes after booting my computer and immediately searched for `Falling In Reverse' finding the album, I quickly bought it and smiled softly, turning up the volume on the laptop and walked into the kitchen with it, dancing and singing along as I cleaned the permanently dingy apartment.

The next morning I crawled out of bed and started the coffee pot as I pushed myself into the shower taking away the aching under the warm, sharp spray of water. I slid out half an hour later and pulled a muscle shirt over my head along with my favorite faded blue jeans. I didn't plan to leave the house today so I threw my dripping hair into a messy ponytail and poured a cup of coffee, I sat at the table and began typing away at the keyboard, I had received an e-mail from my mother and I wanted her to know that I had heard Ronnie on the radio the other day, though I knew all she would tell me is not to get my hopes too high and to keep myself safe. The smile fell from my lips as I remembered the first time I met Ronnie…

Why me? I thought as I sat at the edge of the quad at lunch with my hands shoved in the pockets of my black hooded jacket that was adorned with small grey skulls. I didn't have any friends to sit with like the other kids, suddenly a football knocked me off the large ledge and I fell backwards, hitting my head on the concrete and felt anger and embarrassment heat my pink tinted cheeks. I hated this place. I stood quickly and turned away from the crowd making my way towards a secluded tree. As I sat there on the green grass I felt to people watching me. I stood angrily, prepared to tell them off until I saw their faces, one was smiling down at me, he was boyish and quite adorable, the other was taller and thinner, lanky in a way, but he was gorgeous.

“Hey, you alright? We saw you fall.”

I nodded my response, still studying the two boys clad in black and leather. I didn't know what to think of them. I didn't know if I should smile and make conversation or if I should tell them to just leave me alone. I decided I would do the first.

“Yeah, I'm alright, just a bit pissed off.” The two boys laughed at my sarcasm and nodded. “Wanna sit?” I asked politely, but didn't know what to say afterwards. They both sat on either side of me with smiles as we made small conversation and by the end of the day it seemed I had made two new friends and gained a black eye as well.

That day had been one that I would never forget with Ronnie, he had walked me home that night after I ate dinner with his brother and father. He asked me out that day and from then on I had slowly fallen for the lank, shady, drug addicted boy.
