“I can't believe that we're here! Well I can believe that we're here at Warp Tour, but I can't
believe that we're on the bill.” I said jumping up and down and walking around the venue.
“I've dreamed about this since I was a kid.” I told my guitar player Alex. “Yeah I
know it's pretty exciting isn't it! I feel like we're finally getting somewhere.” I sighed and
leaned my head on Alex's shoulder.
“What do you wanna do after we graduate?” Zacky asked me the first day of our senior
year. “I want to start a band and travel the world.” “I'll play guitar for
you!” he volunteered. “You're already in a band remember silly. You can't leave them
you're going to make it big one day!” I said as I stared at the clouds. “You have
an amazing voice I know you're going to make it big too.” He said as the bell rang for first
“Wow Miranda where did you just go?” Alex asked waving his hand in front of my face.
“Sorry about that … I was just thinking about when I lived back in Cali.” I said
as I stuffed my hands into my pockets. Just then Correne our bassist came running up to us.
“Hey … they just bumped us up on the set list. Apparently someone is sick and we're on
in an hour.” She said trying to catch her breath. “Oh and next time don't leave your
phone in the van. I've been looking for you forever.” “Sorry I was just so excited to
be here you saw how I basically jumped out of the van before it stopped moving. I guess it's time to
set up now.” I said as I linked my arms with Alex and Correne's and skipped off to the side
stage where the rest of the band was already setting up. “Who is playing right now …
they sound pretty good?” I asked helping Jessica set up her drum set. “I they are called
Avenged something I'm not that sure” She said as she finished putting the cymbals' on her drum
set. I stood there with my mouth wide open. “You might want to close that honey before you
swallow a fly. Why do you know them or something?” I closed my mouth and nodded my head.
“You mean Avenged Sevenfold is on that stage right now?!” I said still in disbelief. The
very second I said that they ended the song and Matt said “Thanks and once again we are
Avenged Sevenfold.” And with that they walked off stage.
I stood there in shock I didn't know what to say or do, so I stood there staring at Zacky. He looked
at me and I quickly looked away and went to go help Alex with his amp. I didn't know what to say to
him. I just kind of walked out of their lives and never came back. I called Zack when I had first
arrived in Texas because I knew that if I didn't that he would be coming to Texas to one make sure
that I had made it here okay, and two to kick my ass for not calling him. We wrote each other for a
while he would always ask me when I was going to come visit them, and my answer was I'm not sure. I
guess he eventually got tired of it and stopped writing me. I can't blame him though like I said I
just kind of up and decided to move to Texas one day and there was nothing that they could do to
stop me. “Hey Miranda it's time to go on stage” Correne yelled, and with that I walked
past Zacky and didn't say a word to him.
“I think I just saw Miranda” I whispered to Brian. “We're in Texas of course you
think you just saw Miranda.” He said sarcastically. I pointed over to this girl with bright
long red hair. She had her back facing us but she was wearing a pair of torn to shreds blue jeans
and a Jack Daniels shirt that she had ripped into a half shirt. “Like I said” Brian
started “just because we're in Texas doesn't mean we're going to see your long lost friend.
Face it she left us and we're not going to see her again.” “Hey Miranda it's time to go
on stage” some girl yelled and with that the girl with bright red hair walked on stage. Both
Brian's and mine's mouth dropped “See I told you it was her!” Zacky yelled fist pump in
the air. Brian started freaking out. “How can she be on the same tour as us and not even tell
us?” He demanded. “She might have not known” I suggested “Who didn't know
what?” Matt asked as he walked over to us. I pointed to the girl singing on stage “It's
Miranda!” Matt stood there in shock “No fucking way!” He said in disbelief.
