This isn't as easy to say as you think

"Hey Nate!" Alex smiled as he walked into practice.

"Hey.." Nate muttered eyes glued to his phone.

"Ok.." Alex muttered walking over to meet Gabe. "Hey is Nate ok?"

"I dunno, ask him." Replyed Gabe.

Alex sat next to Nate and reached out to touch his leg. Nate turned his back on his friend.

"Nate?" Alex whispered. Nate stood up and left. Gabe and Alex looked at each other, both as
surprised as each other.

"I'll go after him." Gabe said and ran out of the door. Nate sat in the corridor, crying softly.

"Dude are you ok?" Gabe whispered.

"I, I can't do it with him in there." Nate sighed.

"Who? Ry? Hutto? Alex?" Gabe asked.

"Alex..."

"Why? You are his friend!" Gabe told him.

"I-I-I love him ok!"

"You do?" Alex said from behind Gabe.

"Erm... Im gonna go... set up the mic ok?" Gabe said and left the two men alone.

"Yes I do. Whenever your around I get all nervous and when we go off tour I don't
phone anyone else but you because I only really miss you! I hate being away from you, I hate that
you are getting married and I hate myself for just telling you that..." Nate sighed tears rolling
down his cheeks. Alex sat next to him.

"Im not getting married." Alex told him.

"W-What?" Nate stuttered.

"You idiot I said Im not getting married to Lauren! I erm... I kinda like you too Nate."

"You do?" Nate whispered.

"Yes! I left her last night and she understood, she sorta guessed it."

"You left her for me?"

"No one else but." Alex replyed taking the younger boys hand and sqeezing it tight to show his
truth.

"Erm... Alex?" Nate said scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Yes?"

"Do you wanna... be my... you know..." Nate said blushing.

"Love to." Alex grinned. He leaned in and kissed Nate making him go the deepest shade of red but the
happiest boy alive.
