Brian's Flashbacks
By Revenge

"Friends?" Said a small kindergartener with brown hair in the form of a bowl cut. He was tall for a kindergartener, and was usually mistaken for a first grader.

The other kindergartener stared at him then smiled and nodded quickly bringing his hand out to the other. "Friends" The two shook hands smiling.

"I'm Jimmy" Said the tallest of the two
"I'm Brian. I'm gonna be famous one day" Said the slightly shorter one.
"Me too!!!!" Shouted Jimmy smiling from ear to ear.
"Maybe we can be famous together!"
"Yeah!!" Yelled Brian. A loud hush came from the middle of the room. Sitting on a seat was a teacher, other children surrounding her watching her intently.

"Shush you two!! You're both in time out! Now hush!!" Said the teacher slightly irritated.

Jimmy nodded slowly but Brian only glared. The teacher began to read to the other children happily.

"My favorite colour is purple..." Whispered Brian as he stared at the colour chart that hung to the right of him.
"I like pwurple too" Whispered Jimmy staring up at the colour chart.
~~~
A sob echoed through the room of Brian as he sat bent over on his bed. He held his head in his hands, crying.
"Why?...Why did this happen?....Why now???" Said Brian to himself.
"It's way too soon for you to be gone...you just couldn't leave us all like that...Fuck " Brian sobbed out once more grabbing a fistful of hair, then tugging as he tried to pull himself together. Outside his bedroom came a knock, that startled Brian. Brian sighed then slowly got up and walked towards the door opening it. At the door stood Matt Sanders, his eyes were swollen, dried tear marks along his cheeks.
"Brian...I know you were closer to Jimmy then all of us...But...we gotta go talk to Leana..and Jimbo's family...We're family...we gotta.." Said Matt holding back tears.
"I know...Let me get some shoes on..." Brian sighed walking to his closet.
~~~
Jimmy's loud booming laughter rung along the side of the river. Zacky's soon following, Brian's then proceeding. Then Matt's followed all three. Jimmy flailed his arms around almost loosing his glasses in the process, his blonde hair slicked back a bit, a cigarrette in his mouth. Zacky laughed more holding onto his stomach as tears of joy flowed lightly from his eyes.

"Guys check it out!" Yelled Matt as he pointed to the bridge far ahead, over the river. The three looked towards the bridge and smiled marveling at the site. The sky was practicly white, it completely contrasted with the green of the trees and the murky color of the river.

"Take a picture Matt!" Yelled Jimmy as he quickly posed, getting a laugh from Zack. He quickly let out a rock out sign with his hands, the nails painted black. Brian looked at them and at there casual, awesome poses. He quickly straightened his back out then folded his hands infront of himself giving a cheeky smile. Matt laughed as he watched them through the camera, then took the picture...
~~~
Upon arriving to the Sullivan household, thousands of cars seemed to have filled that street. Brian frowned as he watched close friends of Jimmy standing outside with Mrs. Sullivan. In the midst of the close friends was Zacky and Johnny. Next to Mrs. Sullivan was Leana, Jimmy's fiance.
Brian pursed his lips as he climbed out from the car walking towards Mrs. Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan looked towards them and she smiled weakly. She walked towards Brian, her arms opening wide.
"Oh, Brian....this is so horrible." Said Mrs.Sullivan as she pulled Brian into a tight hug. Brian wrapped his arms around her, hiding his head into her neck as he began to cry once again.
"It's okay Brian...It was sudden but we have to be happy. He's not suffering Brian...You are his best friend, be happy for him okay, Sweetie?" Said Mrs.Sullivan. Brian nodded as she was holding him out to look up into his eyes. Brian sniffled lightly.
"Yes Mrs.Sullivan..." Whispered Brian tears rolling down his face. Mrs. Sullivan smiled and wiped his tears away, then hugged him one last time before leaving to tend to the other sad groups of family and friends. Johnny and Zacky looked towards Brian, and walked over quickly, the brothers gathering together hugging.
Brian sobbed out as he watched his own tears fall onto the lawn. The others crying also.
~~~
Brian turned to his side laughing as he watched Johnny chugging down a beer. Then around at the others. Then he looked to his left at Jimmy as he yelled his name.

"Look! Picture Bri!" Yelled Jimmy as he pointed across from them to somebody who held a camera. Brian smiled and grabbed Jimmy hugging him. The wind blew lightly, blowing some of Jimmy's hair into his face. The flash went of notifying that the picture was taken. A beautiful sunset was captured in the background, with part of a body of water showing.

Jimmy smiled and looked at Brian. "I'm glad you're my best friend, Brian. I love you Bro"

"I love you too Jimbo." Smiled Brian and hugged Jimmy tighter.
~~~
Within a couple of days the funeral came along. Everything proceeded beautifully, though everyone tried to keep a smile, all were brought to tears upon entering the church where Jimmy's procession would be. Jimmy was so solemnly laid in a casket, in a fancy suit. His eyes were shut, his hands crossed along his abdomen. He looked like he was in a peaceful slumber.
The burial was the hardest. Saying good bye, lasted almost as long as a lifetime for everyone. The hearts tugged and tugged as they all watched as the casket, closed, was being lowered into ground. Brian stood next to Michelle who was holding on tightly to his arm crying. Matt stood with Val who was just as upset. She recalled the times when he had blond hair and would spike it. She recalled each picture they took together. Zacky stood next to Gena, both trying to remain calm through out it all, but were quickly brought to tears. Johnny stood with Lacey, both crying. Johnny it seemed to hit just as hard as it did Brian. He remembered drinking with Jimmy, staying up late, talking. Though, all of there pain was immense...the loss was just to great for them all...
~~~
Jimmy yelled excitedly as he ran through the field. Running away from him, was a group of geese. All the guys were following behind slowly chuckling.

"Look at that duck!!! Jesus Christ!!! C'mere fuckin...Stallion duck!! He's not afraid at all!!! He's not afraid at all!! He's not afraid at all!!!!" The goose, then flew into the water. Jimmy frowned and gestured the Stallion Duck away.

"That's the biggest fucking duck I've ever seen in my life!" Said Jimmy as he walked away pointing towards the Stallion Ducks.

Brian laughed, they all did.Jimmy smiled cutely.
~~~
Brian stared down at the little city below him. He shivered lightly as he stared, tears beginning to stream down his face. He slowly lifted himself onto the ledge balancing himself a bit. He shivered more as a gust of wind ran through his thick dark brown hair. Nobody below...nobody around him...nobody to stop him... He inhaled lightly as he closed his eyes. Loud horns could be heard from the distance, the yells of happy children. Brian lifted his right foot and began to edge it out, a gasp echoed behind him. His eyes shot open as he heard somebody yell his name. Brian looked back quickly to see Jimmy standing there.
"Oh...God..." Brian stared as he placed his foot back onto the ledge his eyes wide, tears coming down his eyes.
"Bri...what are you doing?! Get down please!!" Yelled Jimmy as he took a step closer bringing his hand out to Brian. Brian stared at Jimmy so confused but his heart thumped extaticly at the thought of having his friend back. He stepped down slowly, then turned to face Jimmy again, but only saw Zacky walking towards him quickly. Brian sobbed out, dropping down onto the floor grabbing his face.
"No! No! NO!" Yelled Brian as Zacky walked towards him kneeling next to him. "I saw Jimmy...not you!" Brian yelled out extremely upset. Zack stared at him confused placing his hand on Brian's shoulder softly.
"Bri...relax...W-what were you thinking?..You couldn't just kill yourself and leave us..." Said Zack, trying to calm down Brian.
Brian shook his head crying more. He never thought of the others. How could I be so selfish...I was just about to kill myself..
"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." Cried Brian biting his lip.
"Bri...don't be...just...I know it's been hard...it's been for all of us. But it's all gonna be alright. Jimmy's always with us. At heart, in mind. Everywhere." Zack said, reassuringly to Brian. Brian smiled and nodded to himself. Truly comforting words to him.
~~~
Jimmy ran towards the pool, his cigar in hand, he then flipped in. Everyone in the pool wooped loudly at Jimmy's ninja-like moves. Once all entered, including Val in her wedding dress, they all gathered around Jimmy as he began to speak. Jimmy smiled as he stared at everyone.

"What can I say...I'm jealous right now...Because I think I should be marrying both of you" Said Jimmy serious, but his lips tilted up in a smile. Everybody laughed as they listened to him speaking
"Cause, that's how much I love both of ya" Said Jimmy, everybody chuckling and giggling.

After Jimmy's words, he hugged them in the water. All happy and smiling.
