Chapter Twelve
By Krissy_Lynn

Krystal's P.O.V

I was still sitting in Ray's lap, when I heard his stumach grumble. I laughed and Frankie laughed with me. I guess he heard it too.

"Looks like its lunch time!" Frankie laughed.

"Speaking of lunch, I just gotta step outside, I gotta call Mikey, I promised Alex I'd talk to him." I stood up and walked to Frankie's back door.

         "Okay, I'll be ordering pizza!"

I laughed and stepped outside. I looked around Frankie's back yard. It was gorgeous. There was a pool, hot tub, and a sauna. Damn he had it all. I laugehd and pulled out my cell, and dialed Mikey's number. I had gotten it from Frankie the other day.

"Hello?" Mikey asked, he sounded groggy and angry. I kind of regretted calling at the moment.

         "Uh...hey, Mikey. It's Krystal."

"Oh, hey Krystal. Wait, how'd you get my cell phone number?"

"Frankie told me it." Ray came outside and wrapped his arms around my waist and I smiled, as I spoke into the cell phone.

"Why do you sound so happy?" Mikey asked.

         "Well, I'm kinda...dating Ray."

"Oh, cool. I'm happy for you."

"Good, you should be. Anyways, I'm calling cause I have to talk to you about Alex."

         "Why?"

"She called me today. She told me that you guys were talking about her going to school, and she said she was scared to go back. And she told me that you think it's your fault that she got hurt."

         "It is my fault though."

"Shut up, Mikey. It is not. Now let me finish."

         "Oh, okay. Sorry."

"And she said that she was getting upset seeing you that way. But she said that you're upset because she's upset. And she doesn't want you to feel that way. She thinks it's her fault you're upset. Which it technically is, but she feels bad for making you feel that way."

"It's not her fault, not really, at least. I just don't want her to be upset. And I know she's scared."

"Well, she has every right to be."

         "I agree with you there."

"Well, I've gotta go now. I'll talk to you later. Let me know how everything goes."

         "Okay, I will. Bye."

         "Bye."

I sighed and hung up. I sometimes don't like talking to him. Its like talking to a wall. I rolled my eyes and turned to Ray.

"You know, its not nice to distract someone while they're on the phone." I smiled at Ray.

"I'm sorry, how can I make it up to you?" Ray smiled back.

         "Well there is one thing..."

         "Go on."

I leaned up, wrapped my arms around Ray's neck, and kissed him with everything I had. Ray tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer to him. I heard someone clear their throat. I pulled back and looked over to see Frankie glaring.

"No making out on my deck!" Frankie glared jokingly.

"Fine! The spare bedroom?" I raised my eyebrow and laughed.

"No." Frankie turned to go back inside when my phoen rang.

It was Janet so I decided to pick up.

         "KRYSTAL!" Janet screamed.

         "Yes Janet?" I blinked.

         "Way...Emilia...Kissing!"

         "WAIT WHAT!?"

"Mr. Way...I saw him kiss Emilia."

"WHAT THE FUCK!? Are you sure?"

"As sure, as I am your cousin."

"Okay, well I'll deal with Emilia later, I gotta call Alex."

         "Okay bye!"

"Bye." I hung up and exhaled.

I was greeted by Frankie and Ray looking at me puzzled. I shook my head, and called Alex. I was as careful as I could be when I told her. I felt bad, I didn't want to tell her, but she had the right to know. I sighed when I hung up. Alex had said goodbye crying.

I sighed and went back inside. Ray sat beside me and wrapped his arms around me and whispered to me, telling me it was going to be okay.

Later That Day.

I had fallen asleep in Ray's lap. I was worried about Alex, but worse, I was worried about Mikey. Alex was not one to cross. I sighed and moved slightly. I felt Ray loosen his grip. I looked up and him, and he smiled.

         "Afternoon." Frankie chuckled.

         "Evening." I laughed.

"I think we should go over to Mikey's and see how things are." Frankie shrugged.

"I think you're right." Ray spoke.

"Yeah, you're right. Lets go. Its well past school hours." I got up and walked to the door with Frankie and Ray.

Frankie lead Ray and I over to Mikey's house. I'd been there a couple times, so I knew the way, but Frankie wanted to feel specail, and I got to be beside Ray, so I wasn't complaining. Frankie opened Mikey's door and I gave him a "What the fuck are you doing" look, and he smiled.

We walked to the living room, and I kind of regretted it. Alex and Mikey were playing around on the couch. Possibly in a sexual way, but they were so cute.

         "Um...guys?" I broke the silence.

Alex and Mikey turned, Mikey glared slightly. Alex winked at me when she saw I was holding Ray's hand. I smiled.

"I didn't tell you to come in this time." Mikey said. "In fact, I didn't invite you over at all."

Alex got off of Mikey and sat beside him. I glared at Mikey slightly while Frankie sat in the recliner, and Ray sat on the loveseat.

"Alex, can I talk to you?" I asked, Alex looked like she knew what I wanted to talk about.

"Yeah, sure." Alex replied. We went upstairs into her bedroom.

"Did you not hear anything I said when we were on the phone? He kissed Emilia." she said.

"No, he didn't. No offense to you, but I believe Mikey over your cousin. Maybe she just saw it at the wrong time. Cause she kissed him. I know he'd never do that."

         "I don't believe that."

"I didn't either, until he kind of um...said something to me."

"What did he say?" my eyes widened.

         "So, now you care?"

"I did the whole time. I just don't know him that well, and you're like my sister, so I wanted to make sure you were okay before I knew what was really going on."

"And you think I'd be okay by you telling me that my boyfriend was kissing the person I hate?"

"You know what I mean. Now just tell me what he said."

"He told me he loved me." Alex smiled and sighed. "It was just...perfect. I mean, I didn't want to be the one to say it first, because I wasn't sure if he felt the same way. But know I know he feels the same way.

"That's so cute! Okay, I'm not mad at him anymore." I smiled wide.

"And it's cute that you're dating Ray! Since when?"

"Yesterday. I was going to tell you, but I figured your issues are more important than my relationship status."

         "Well, thanks for that then."

Alex and I laughed, and went back downstairs.

Alex plopped down beside Mikey, and I walked over and sat beside Ray. Ray grinned at me, and I smiled back. I saw Alex smile from the corner of my eye.

"This is no fair! I need a girlfriend." Frankie frowned.

"Well, then...why don't we...go to the mall sometime? You can see if there are any girls there." Ray said, shrugging.

"All the girls at the mall are fugly!"

"Thanks. You know, I go there a lot, asshole." Alex said, glaring at him.

"Well, then I've been going on the wrong days." Frankie winked. Alex laughed and Mikey glared at him.

"Hey, back off." Mikey said, laughing.

"Meh, Frankie's too crazy for me anyways." Alex laughed, poking Mikey's nose. He scrunched his face up and Alex grinned at him and kissed his cheek.

"You two are so disgustingly cute. It makes me want to throw up." I laughed.

"Well, thanks. Kind of?" Mikey said.

"Ooh, let's watch a movie!" Frankie said.

         "Okay, what movie?" Alex asked.

         "Pineapple Express!"

"Dude! That is my favourite fucking movie EVER!" Alex shouted, bouncing up and down.

"I know. Krystal told me." Frankie grinned. I laughed.

He put the movie in the DVD player.

Before I knew it, it was 1:00am, and we had watched a bunch of movies. It had been such a dramatic day, but it had all worked out. I moved slightly, so I was better cuddling up to Ray on the love seat. I kissed his forhead, then I closed my eyes, and past out.
