Chapter Eleven
By Krissy_Lynn

Krystal's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and felt arms wrapped around me. I turned slightly and saw that Ray was the man holding me. I smiled as I remembered last night, I fell asleep on his shoulder, I guess he laid me down and fell asleep beside me. He was still asleep so I took the chance and cuddle back up to him. Still asleep he pulled me closer, his arms around my waist. I snuggled my face into his chest and fell back asleep.

I was woken up again, by Ray moving. I grunted in protest and I heard a "sorry" being muttered. I fluttered my eyes open and looked up at Ray with sleep eyes.

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you..." Ray half smiled.

"Its alright, it was probably time for me to get up anyways. Sorry, about falling asleep on you last night..." I bit my lip and sat up.

"I...its okay, your cuddlely, so it was nice."

"It was?" I smiled and Ray blushed.

"JUST KISS ALREADY!" Frankie shouted from the kitchen.

"DUDE SHUT UP!" Ray and I yelled back at the same time.

Ray and I laughed, I looked down at my hands. Ray was sitting beside me. I looked up when Frankie walked in.

"Ray, I swear to god if you don't kiss her, I will." Frankie stared at us.

         "You wouldn't." I stared back.

         "He will..." Ray gulped.

         "I will." Frankie stepped closer.

"Dude, enough, knock it off." I rolled my eyes at Frankie.

"Why? Afraid you might like it?"

"No, I won't, but you're creeping me out..." I spoke and walked past Frankie into the kitchen, to grab a cup of coffee.

"Dude, seriously, she wants to kiss you! Go kiss her!" I heard Frankie say softly.

I rolled my eyes and made my coffee.

"I'm nervous..." Ray spoke almost a whisper.

"Don't be, she likes you alot, and you like her alot. Just kiss her, and you'll feel better."

I walked back into the living room and smiled brightly. I sat down inbetween Ray and Frankie. I set my coffee down and pulled my legs up to me. Frankie turned on the t.v and we started to watch a movie.

"Frankie, it freezing in here, do you have an blankets?" I shivered.

"Umm, I don't know let me go check." Frankie stood up and walked upstairs.

I turned slightly to Ray and bit my lip. I was going to do this now.

         "Ray?"

"Yeah?" Just as Ray turned toward me I touched my lips up to his.

Ray kissed back and I smiled. I pulled back when I heard Frankie clapping.

         "Finally!" Frankie smiled.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. Ray wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer. I snuggled up to him, and my phone rang. I sighed and answered.

         "Hello?" I asked.

         "Hey, Krystal." Alex spoke.

         "Oh, hey, Alex."

"I'm glad I caught you before you left for school."

``Yeah...I'm suspended for a month, remember?"

``Oh, yeah, well, don't blame me, I'm tired, I forgot. Anyways, I have to talk to you about something.''

         ``What?''

         ``It's about me, and Mikey.''

``Please don't tell me you're breaking up with him already!'' I was worried.

         ``No, no! Of course not!''

``Okay, good. Sorry, what was it?''

``Well, this morning, Mikey and I were talking, and I was talking about how I didn't want to go to school, so I'm not. And then I told him I was scared to go back, and then he started saying that it was his fault that Corey beat me up. And I kept telling him it wasn't his fault, but he kept saying it was.''

``Well, it obviously wasn't. Even if he hadn't helped that teacher, Corey might have still done that to you. Don't take it personally, I don't mean it in a rude way.

``I know.'' Alex laughed slightly. ``But, anyways, he said that seeing me upset made him upset, and he told me I mean so much to him. And he means a lot to me. I hated seeing him that way. And it's my fault he is that way.''

``I know what you mean. You don't want him to be upset, but you're upset. And he said that he's upset when you are, but you don't want to be upset, right?''

``Yeah, and by the way you just used the word upset...four times, in one statement.''

``It's cause I'm cool like that.''

         ``Yeah, totally.''

``Well, if you want, I'll talk to Mikey today, see what he has to say.''

         ``Okay, I'd like that.''

``Well, uh...I gotta go now. I'll talk to you later.''

         ``Okay, bye.''

``Bye.'' I hung up and sighed. Alex was a hard one to read, and deal with. After all of our friendship, I was still prefecting the art of Alex reading. Good luck to Mikey.

I leaned up against Ray and thought about what to say to Mikey. I exhaled sharply.

"Whats wrong Kris?" Ray reached for my hand and held it.

"Just, Alex." I looked up at Ray and explained to him Alex and I's converstaion.

"Sounds rough." Ray gave me a sympathtic smile.

"It is, and the worst part is, I for once, am at a loss for words as to what to say to Mikey."

"It'll be okay, you seem to always know what to do." Ray smiled.

"Thanks sweetheart." I kissed Ray then leaned back in his chest.

Ray pulled me into his lap, and turned the t.v on. Frankie, Ray, and I watched movies as I thought about what to say to Mikey.
