Perfect Isn't Everlasting
By I'mTheFuckingWildOne

FLORIDA PLATES - PENCEY PREP
Hold you as waves crash down on the Jersey Shore
Can't think of a time when I needed this more
Your skin is so pale reflecting the moon's glow
Please don't talk too much baby
I don't wanna know

Breathe on your neck
Make knots with our fingers
I know that soon you'll be out of my reach
Kiss closed mouth to open eyes
Stall one last moment before goodbye

Drive different cars in different directions
Never write all the letters full of good words
Better intentions
It's for the best although we don't know it
Paper words could only cheapen the moments we shared
It's better I say nothing at all

You were so perfect but not everlasting
I'm almost convinced that we never happened

The teenage girl sniffled, wiping a tear from her pale cheek, while she stared out at the ocean.
Frank tightened his arms around the younger girl as she sat with her back leaning against his chest.
Frank looked at the girl's face while her eyes sat on the water, trying not to cry. Her skin is so
pale, it's refecting the moon's glow, he thought to himself.

Tara could feel the older boy's warm breath on the back of her neck which was something she had
adored when she first arrived in New Jersey. She glanced down at their hands as the sat intwined.
Their fingers seemed to knot over and over in different ways, but still they stayed connected.
"Frankie, I don't wanna go back to--"

Frank interrupted her. "Please don't talk too much baby...I don't wanna know." He spoke quietly,
looking down at the sand they sat on. Frank didn't want to know how much leaving was going to hurt
her. He knew that soon she would be out of his reach, but he wanted to pretend it wasn't going to
happen.

"Tara!" They both heard and recgonized the voice to belong to Tara's Mother.

"Fuck," Tara muttered, causing a tear to roll down her face. Frank stood pulling her up and he
slowly wiped the fluid from her pale cheek as they both stood facing each other. "Be here next
summer?" She said, Frank could he the pain in her small voice.

"Right in this very spot." Frank said and smiled as much as he could.

"You'll be nineteen then." Tara said, pointing out a none important fact. Frank had always loved
when she did it, while it annoyed everyone else.

Frank gave a small smile and leaned over kissing her. The kiss was simple, but meant far too much
for them. They both pulled away, just staring at each other. A stall of one last moment before
goodbye was going to be said.

"Bye, Frankie," Tara manged, looking in Frank's eyes which always reminded her of a lost puppy.

"Bye," Frank said while Tara ran to her parents car. Frank watched as the car drove away, and then
he glanced at the Florida plate on the car.

Weeks later Frank started recieving letters from Tara. Frank re-read and re-read each letter he
recieved. The paper words seemed to cheapen the moments they had shared. Frank sadly could not reply
back, he thought it was better he said nothing at all.

Frank's last comment on Tara, was something that stuck with him forever. "You
were so perfect, but not everlasting. I'm almost convinced that we never happened..."

so this was like my very first frank story I thought up when I was on a
different site which was ALL my chemical romance fanfics, buuut I never wrote it cause a story about
gerard was more important. lol
I'm kinda impressed I finally wrote it out. lol
should it stay a one-shot or should I write in to a story which I have already done in my head
because I thought of this in 2006 hah

Your choice ladies!
