She Couldn't Help It
By beckyvengeance

Macy frown as she sat in between the big, muscular boy and the boy with
the crazy hair. The boy with the crazy hair smiled at her and she rolled her eyes. "Awe, what's
wrong Macy love?" Macy looked at Jimmy.
"I spend more than enough time with you as it is. I shouldn't have to suffer at school too." Jimmy
laughed, as did Matt.
"C'mon Macy, you know you love us." Macy rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, I wish I didn't, sometimes." Jimmy shook his head.
"You're a silly girl Mace."
"And you are a crazy boy Jim."
"Don't you know it?" Jimmy winked and Macy smiled. She couldn't help it, she loved him.
~
Macy let Maggie zip up her white wedding gown. "You look amazing Macy." Macy smiled.
"Thanks Mags." She took a deep breath.
"You ready?" Macy nodded.
"More ready than I've ever been. I can't wait for tonight." The girls laughed.
As Macy walked to the altar, her eyes scanned over the five boys in tuxedos. Matt was at Jimmy's
side, like always. As she came to stand by Jimmy at the altar, she couldn't help but smile. She
loved him.
~
Macy sighed as she tried to stand up, her big belly making it hard. Matt stood and helped her up.
She smiled a thanks at him. "You're so cute." Matt said, grinning as Macy placed a hand on her
back.
"As much as I love your complimets, Matthew, I can't wait to be skinny again." Matt chuckled and
turned to Maggie, talking to her about having babies. Macy walked into the kitchen, where Jimmy was
cooking dinner. He turned to her.
"What does Mama need?" Jimmy asked, his bright blue eyes wide with concern. Macy shook her
head.
"Nothing. I wanted to see you."
"Well, in that case..." Jimmy walked over and kissed Macy. She couldn't help but smile. She loved
him.
~
Macy picked up the little boy off the floor. He laughed and it filled the somewhat empty house.
Macy smiled at Owen, a spitting image of his father, with the bright blue eyes and dark, messy hair.
As Macy placed him in his bed for a nap, she smiled, she couldn't help it. Owen was her world. He
had and was still helping her get through the hardest thing in her life. She loved him more than
anything, except maybe, his father. After turning the light out, Macy made her way to her lonely
bedroom. She sat down and picked up thr framed picture on her bedside table. Jimmy and Macy were
sitting together and Jimmy was holding Owen. It was the three's first and last Christmas together.
Jimmy was smiling from the joy of being with his new family. Macy smiled through the new tears and
still-fresh pain, even though it'd been almost three years. She couldn't help the smile, she loved
him and she knew that Jimmy was smiling down on her and Owen, because he too, loved them.
