Part 2.
By Torri Ryan

Tom came in and his eyes bulged at what he saw, blood ran down my arm and dripped from my fingertips.

“Bill what are you doing?!” he ran to my side and grabbed my arm, pulling off my glove, exposing the cut skin. I just stood there and cried, repeatingly saying sorry.

“why are you saying sorry to me? Billa, you need help” he said it like I was some kind of mental patient.

“I don't need fucking help I'm fine! Leave me alone!” I yelled and pushed him away. I dropped to the floor and continued to sob, my hands covering my face.

“Bill, look at me” “look at me Bill!” “Look at me!” he started to yell at me. Which made me cry more. Tom had a short temper.

“stop yelling at me!” I shrieked like a child, moving myself farther away from him. He stood there for a moment silent, just staring at me.

“Bill, I'm sorry.” He calmly spoke and crouched beside me. I looked up from my hands at him. My face stained with my black running makeup. He whipped a tear from my face with his sweaters sleeve. He sat next to me and put a arm around my shoulders and let me cry into his shoulder.

“We'll make it through this ok?” he comforted. “Why do you do this to your self?” he asked me.

“It's along story” I looked up at him. Not knowing were to start.

“I have time” he smiled. I told him all about the things I was hiding. About dad, and the suicide attempt, I told him every thing.

“Dad touches you?” he was shocked.

“ya… he doesn't to you?” I felt so alone. I was his victim.

“no he doesn't, that's unbelievable!” he began to be very angry.

“I can't fucking believe this! Our own fucking father is fucking touching you! That's disgusting!” he went off, I only sighed.

“Well he's never going to again if I have something to do with it!” he continued to freak.

“Please don't! I don't want him getting mad. He hurts me when hes mad” I pleaded.

“We can't just not do any thing, How long has this been going on?!”

“Since we were little…” I admitted, I've been keeping it a secret forever.

“What! Are you serious?! Why didn't you ever tell me?!” he was still flaring.

“I didn't want him to find out I told you, and I didn't want you getting hurt.” Our dad really frightened me. He signed and pulled me closer to him.

“It's ok to cry.” He whispered, and I began to cry again into his shoulder. He was always there for me, even if he's a spaz doing so.

“thank you” I cried.

“No problem little bro, I love you to much to let you suffer.” His voice was sincere.

“I love you to Tomi, you're the best you know that?” I smiled, something I haven't done in awhile.

“There's that smile I missed.” He smile with me. We sat there for hours, forgetting about the bad things.

If only this could last forever, if only.
