Reversed Order
By Blkwidow77

Ok peoples... Very few people are even reading my little mini- poetry romance series I'm having. But if you ARE then here's the sequence. The first is "Rubber Octopus", then "Tea Soaked Frustration", then "Mislead Desire". This is now the most recent, sad example of my current love life.... *sigh* V-V

Reversed Order

???????????????????????????????

'We are creatures of habit'

I say this as I cross my right ankle

Securely beneath my left knee

Like I always do with 30 seconds

Of sitting at this restaurant, or anywhere else

It's just me, I guess.

I choose his section blatantly pig-headed

Daring on my part, I wasn't going to come back

I'm tripping words, like when he asked our drinks

Blue green arrogance, melted in stumbling eye contact

Sad little lips parted dry glue, my tongue ring weighted stone

It's just him, I guess.

Silver rapid temperament, crashing harsh submissive

Nodding dumbly 'yes', 'Tea and Water' he says softly for me

Watching lips that never said, what still is always true

He knew. My creatures habit, eyes dark in recognition

I shiver terribly near him, but still we pass each other silent

It's just us, I guess.

But I never stated, last time, last poem hid facts

Last moments here, I fled, desert rain water? on parched tongues

Out of place event, cook writing notes to him... out here!

I shuttered myself back, tingling beneath too many eyes

Gazing forward faded, Mischief smile mirrored back... unexpected

It's just the tea, I guess.

Arbitrary motives, his voice vibrates my chest from behind

Heaving sighing confusion, arced back in reverse order

Wanting desperate desensitization, in the undefined space

Between the thoughts behind his dark eyes and sealed lips

I'm desert hard stagnant, while his sun blinds me

It's just us, I guess.

As usual... It never goes anywhere but a circle. Sometimes I wonder if I don't just like to torture myself?
