Meet MCR!
By ****Black Mariah****

*Okay, I know this is out of order but I thought I'd add a prologue to the story. This is the first
time that Izzy and Gee met and a couple years later when she started crushing on him. Enjoy! PS I
don't own MCR*

"Izabell!" my mom called up the stairs. I poked my head out the door, "I refuse to respond to that
name!" I called back. "You will if you know what's good for you." Mom called back. I sighed and
stomped down the stairs. "Is Frank here yet?" I asked. "Your cousin will be over any minuet, will
you please help me set the table?" Mom asked. "C'mon, it's just Frankie!" I replied but the look she
gave me shut me up. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a stack of plates, one for me, one for Mom
and one for Frankie. I sat them on the table and started to set them out. "You're going to need more
than that Izabell. Frank is bringing his friends over." She said. "How many?" I asked. "Uh...he said
four but he called to tell me one of his friends, Matt I think, couldn't come so just three." She
said. I gathered the three extra plates and sat them on the table and placed glasses next to each.
After I sat the silverware out I headed to the living room to watch TV.

I flipped though the channels trying to find something good to watch. Finally I found Freddy Vs.
Jason and settled back. The door bell rang a short time later and I hurried to the door. "Frankie!"
I yelled and flew into my favorite cousin's arms. "Izzy!" he yelled back and swung me around the
front porch. "Hey, I want you to meet my friends." Frank said putting me down. I looked behind him
and saw three guys standing on the steps smiling. The one closest to me had a ton of hair that
curled into an afro around his head. The one next to him was about his height with long dark hair
that hung around his shoulders. The guy beside him was a little skinny with glasses that were
perched on the end of his nose. All three wore dark jeans and band tees with beat up converse.
"Izzy, this is Ray Toro, Gerard Way and Mikey Way. Guys this is my baby cousin, Izabell but I don't
advise you call her that or she may kick your as-I mean butt." Frank said. I looked at him, "I don't
exactly have virgin ears Frankie. You can cuss in front of me." I said. "You shouldn't even be
saying the word 'virgin'! You're eleven!" Frank said. I rolled my eyes and walked inside.

I sat on the couch to continue my movie while Frank talked to Mom. I vaguely heard him introduce
Ray, Mikey and Gerard but I was too wrapped up in my movie to care. Someone sat down beside me and
I looked up, it was Gerard. "Aren't you a little young to be watching Freddy VS. Jason?" he asked.
"I've seen it a million times." I replied. "Oh, okay." He said and settled back to watch it with me.
"Izzy, Gee, time for dinner." Frank called from the dining room. I got up and walked to the table. I
took a seat between Frankie and Mikey. We were having meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn,
peas and German Chocolate Cake. I filled my plate with food and dug in. "So Frank, what's your band
called?" Mom asked as we ate. "My Chemical Romance." He replied. "That's certainly an interesting
name...where did you get it?" she asked. "Mikey made it up. He found it in some book at Barnes &
Nobel's." Frank replied.

The conversation continued like that until we'd all finished dessert. I helped Mom put the dishes in
the dishwasher and headed out to the living room. Frank sat on the couch playing video games with
Ray while Mikey watched and Gee sat bent over a notebook. "What are you doing?" I asked. "I don't
know, nothing really I guess, just drawing." Gerard replied. I watched as he sketched on the paper
with careful strokes of his pen. "That's really good." I replied. "Thanks." He replied. "Izzy draws
too." Frank said not taking his eyes off of the screen. "Really?" Gerard asked. "Yeah, but I'm not
nearly as good as you." I said. "I'm sure you're pretty good." Gerard said. "Do you want to see some
of my stuff?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied sitting his notebook aside. "It's in my room." I said and
walked toward the stairs with Gee behind me.

My room was the only one that was occupied in the house beside's my mom's but hers was on the first
floor and mine was on the second. When my older twin sisters Hayleigh and Jessyca had moved into
their dorms at NYU mom had given me their room which was much bigger. However it had been painted a
sickening Pepto Bismal pink the year before so I had had to disguise the walls with numerous
posters. "Uh...Watch where you step or something might grab you." I said with a laugh as we walked
into my messy room. "Its okay, my room isn't much better." He replied and I smiled. I sat on my bed
and grabbed my sketch book from under my bed and handed it to Gerard. He flipped through, "These are
really good." He said and I smiled. "Thanks." I replied. "You're welcome." He said. "So what do you
do in the band?" I asked. "Sing." he replied. "Really? You don't look the singer type." I said.
"Really now, what do I look like?" He asked moving a pile of random junk from the desk chair in the
corner and taking a seat. "Hmm...a drummer maybe?" I said. "Yeah, I can't keep a beat to save my
life. Can't play guitar much either." he said. "So that's why you sing. Those who can't play for
shit, sing. What?" I asked as the look on Gerard's voice turned from amused to surprise. "Uh...did
you just say 'shit'?" Gerard asked. "Crap. Yes, please don't tell my mom or my cousin. They'd kill
me." I said. "It's okay. We'll keep it our little secret." he said with a smile. I nodded and opened
my mouth to thank him when Ray called up the stairs, "Hey, anyone want to watch The Lost Boys?" he
called. "Ooh...that's my favorite movie." I said. "Lets go then." Gerard said with a smile and we
raced down the stairs.
