where's the sunlight
By Jet Margera

Clouds forever looming overhead
Never giving me time to breathe
Nor giving me time to enjoy the sunlight
The sun which brings me happiness
I'm not allowed to see it,
it's covered hidden away from my wanting eyes.

There's no sunlight now
No, not the clouds have fixed themselves into position.
I doubt they will ever move.
I will never see my sunlight again.
It's far behind my clouds now
Not even attempting to work its way out.

The people in my life try to move the dark shapes
Although only two or three special people really can
However they do not yet know how.
Their efforts are all appreciated yet still ineffective
The clouds remain and I will wait until one of them discovers a way.
A way to show me my sunlight.

Maybe I'm so used to my clouds and the dark that I don't want them to leave
They stay there by my own will
Maybe I am one of the people that could move them.
Although I'm the same as everyone else
I don't know how.
We should work together.

When they part will I be happy again,
Will there be sunlight?
Or just a vast open expanse of emptiness.
And all the efforts will be for nothing.
All I can do is wait
And watch for the sunlight peaking through those clouds.
