The Rev--Gone but not forgotted
By Black*Lotus

I got up this morning going about my usual business
Ya know checking myspace, facebook and so on...
I came across the blog the band had posted and i just couldnt believe it.
I mean Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan had passed away?
to say i was barely shaken would the worst understatement ever made.
i quickly typed it in on google and it came up with a news report from
the Los Angelas Times.
I sat there crying (literally) when i read through it.
Jimmy was one of the greatest people you could have ever met.
He was funny and crazy and just someone who you easily be friends with
im not going to say that i cant imagine what kind of pain they are going through
with a loss of a friend, because i have been there and it sucks.
At least i was able to see him live twice and be able to experience
the craziness of The Rev and be able to witness his amazing gift behind
the stacks.
Jimmy will be missed, but his memory will live on through all the fans and the guys of the band.
what ever their decision is, whether its continue or just stop with everything, i will support them.

in honor of him this poem is written (not original just fits with the situation)

It bronke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone
Part of us went with you
the day you were called home
A million times we think of you
A million times we will cry
Forgive us lord, for we will always weep
For this drummer whom we love but could not keep
Though you may have passed
and moved on
We will keep your memory moving
as if you weren't gone

RIP James "The Rev" Sullivan
~~~forever in our hears~~~
