Please Don't Forget
“No, Taylor, please you can't do this to me!” I yelled to the almost lifeless
body lying down on the ground.
“Yes you can and yes you will! Taylor please!” I yelled once again.
“I can't do this... Jamie... I can't...”
Paramore was finally back from their 'The Final Riot' tour which lasted 40 days. 40 whole days
without Taylor. 40 whole days without Hayley, Jeremy, and my older brothers Josh and Zac Farro. Life
was tough since I wasn't allowed to go on this tour, but I made it through, eventually.
“HONK!” went the car. We all know who that was: Paramore. I heard the door
downstairs open as bags fell down to the ground.
“Jamie, we're home!” Josh yelled as I quickly shut my laptop and then I dashed
“JOSH!” I shout as I literally jump at my brother and crash him down.
“You little retard, I knew you would miss me.” Josh replied making me laugh.
“Hey, doesn't the other brother get love?” Zac asked with a pout.
“Sorry Zac.” I answer as I quickly run over to Zac and hug him tightly.
“Hey don't forget your best friend.” Jeremy said half joking.
“You'll all get your turns.” I reply with a grin as Jeremy and I return a hug to each
“Hey! Don't forget about the only girl here, now.” Hayley said as I turn around and
“You short red-haired person.” I tell her as we both laugh and we hug. I pull away and
look over to the boy with the afro who I haven't hugged yet.
“Well?” Taylor asked as I gave him a doubtful look.
Taylor gasped, “What's that supposed to mean?”
“I'm just kidding, geeze.” I answer as he walked over to him and gave me a hug, tighter
than the other's added together.
“Hey I missed you.” Taylor whispered to my ear.
“I missed you too, so much.” I reply.
“Jamie Elizabeth Farro, Taylor Benjamin York, if you two get all sexual in front of us I swear
“Zac, they won't get sexual, well not here at least.” Hayley said as we pulled away.
“Oh, ha-ha.” I reply sarcastically.
The others except Hayley and Jeremy started unpacking. Taylor held my hand as he led me outside to
our backyard. It was like he lived here considering he knew every place in Farro household.
“So how was the tour?” I ask.
“It was...” Taylor trailed off. “Alright, I guess.”
“What do you mean by 'alright', Mr. York?” I asked.
“I don't know, it was just different when you weren't there.” Taylor answered sweetly.
“But now it doesn't matter because you're here.”
“Aw, that's sweet.” I said as I played with his hairs and his curls.
“Don't play with my curls. They are my curls and mine alone.” Taylor said,
putting his hand over his hair.
“Hey, one of the reasons I fell in love with you was because of your afro hair okay?” I
“Well in that case feel free to touch my afro hair anytime you want.” Taylor said,
immediately taking his hands off his hair.
“Good, that's how we do.”
“I'll see you tomorrow. Remember, we have a date.” Taylor said holding my hand.
“Yeah, I'll remember.” I replied as I lead him outside.
Taylor bent down and planted a soft kiss on my lips. A few seconds later, I wrapped my arms around
his neck and kissed him back softly as he put his arms around my waist. 40 days without this and I
finally had it. I pull away after a minute and gaze at his beautiful face.
“I love you, Taylor Benjamin York.”
“I love you too, Jamie Elizabeth Farro.”
The loud wailing sounds of the sirens, the flashing lights, all the murmuring and all the crying
didn't matter to me right now. All that mattered now was my probably last few minutes with the guy I
have been in love with for 3 years. I can't let him go, not now, not ever.
“Taylor please, tell me what happened first.” I say weakly.
“DUI... car crash... no breaks...”
“Oh dear God...” I heard Hayley whisper as she covered her mouth to prevent her from
saying anymore. I turn to look at her but Taylor's voice held me back.
“Jamie, listen to me.” Taylor managed to say as he figited a piece of paper out of his
pocket. “I need to you read this... now...”
“Okay, I'll read just please don't die out on me, Tay.” I reply as I snatch the
paper off of him and read it.
“Jamie, I've been in love with you for 3 years and you know that. Even though we've been
dating for only 1 and a half, I've decided I'm going to do the one thing I should have a few months
before The Final Riot tour started. Jamie Elizabeth Farro, marry me. Please? I'll love you forever
and always. Love always, T-York, your afro. (:” I read out as more tears fled to my eyes.
“You were gonna propose to me tonight.” I whisper as he nodded slightly.
“Yeah... ouch.” he hissed.
“Well yes, I do wanna marry you Taylor, I do... before it's too late.” I reply.
He figited a ring from his pocket and then slid it into my finger.
“I love you... J-Jamie Elizabeth F-Farro...” Taylor stuttered. “Never
forget...” he added in almost a whisper as his whole body had stopped functioning, including
his heart and his eyes closed gently.
I bite my lower lip in a brave attempt not to cry anymore. “I love you too, Taylor Benjamin
York. Please, never, ever forget.” I reply in a whisper as I held his hand even tighter
and I could feel the coldness of his limp, lifeless, pale body. I kiss his cold hand softly and lay
it back down. I lean over and give him a soft peck on the lips, the last one we will ever share.
I stood there as I saw them roll him off on a hospital bed and into the ambulance.
“Sorry about your loss, ma'am.” the police officer said as I looked at him with teary
eyes and he walked away.
Slowly, they drove Taylor Benjamin York, the love of my life, away. I could just imagine it, him
inside that small ambulance, dead.
“Jamie, don't cry, we're here.” Josh said as they all gave me a hug tightly.
“Thanks.” I whisper back.
“Come on Jay-Jay, let's go home and wait for news.” Hayley said gesturing me to go as I
I take another look at the paper and turned it to the other side where I saw there was a beautiful
graffiti that only had five words, but it meant the world to me:
'I love you, don't forget.'
So yeah... that's basically it. I was bored and I was listening to Paramore and I have an insane
obsession with Taylor York so yeah. Sad sad ending, I know.
