Good Morning...Good Grief
By ****Black Mariah****

The sun shone into the window of my hotel room rousing me from one of the best sleeps I'd had in a long time. I didn't realize why until I opened my eyes and found Gerard's arm draped across my middle. I snuggled closer to him, happy to have him so close. Reaching up I kissed his lips softly and he began to stir, a smile playing lightly on his face. “What a nice way to wake up.” He said and before I could reply he pulled me even closer than I had been a few moments before and kissing me harder than I had kissed him.

We stayed like that for awhile just kissing, his hands on my waist and mine tangled in his mass of black hair. Everything else seemed to disintegrate around us as we lay there. Then everything came sharply back into focus when a sharp knock came from the door. “Izzy, are you awake?” Frank called. I froze, Gerard plus me were bad in Frank's eyes and therefore Gerard in MY bed was even worse. “Shit!” I said and sprung from my bed as fast as I could. I grabbed my robe and pulled it on before grabbing Gerard's hand and pulling him from the bed, “Hide!” I said shoving him over the threshold into the bathroom. I took a moment at the mirror to wipe smeared eyeliner from face before opening the door.

“Morning!” I said cheerfully to my cousin on the other side of the door. “Goooood morning…how'd you sleep?” Frank asked with a smile. “Fine, like a rock actually.” I replied. “That must be why you didn't get my call to see if you wanted to come to breakfast. Well I brought you something back, here.” He said and handed me a brown paper bag and a cup of coffee. “Yum! I'm starving so this'll be great. How long before we leave?” I asked. “An hour and a half so you might want to eat that while you're getting dressed.” He said. “Okay, see you then.” I said and shut the door.

“Is he gone?” Gerard asked peaking out of the bathroom door. “Yeah. We're leaving in an hour and a half.” I said. “That's what I heard. I'd better get out of here before he comes back.” He replied grabbing his coat and shoes. “Wait, let me call Mikey. Let him make sure the coast is clear before you go out there, make sure Pansy's gone.” I said picking up the phone. I punched in Mikey's number and waited for him to pick up, which he did on the first ring. “Finally.” He said sounding relieved. “Well good morning to you to Mikey Mouse.” I replied. He ignored the pet name and the sarcasm, “Did Gee spend the night with you?” he asked and I could have laughed, he sounded almost like Frank. “Yes he did and no nothing happened. Now would you do me a favor?” I asked. “You want me to see if Frankie's still in the hall right?” He asked. “Yeah could you?” I replied. “Yes but I'm not doing this again…if you and Gee want to get yourselves in all sorts of shit you can handle it from now on because-” he began to rant and I closed my phone with a snap.

Two minuets later a knock came on the door again, Mikey this time. I opened it and he gave me the thumbs up. “See you soon.” I said kissing Gerard softly on the lips. “I hope so.” He replied and snuck back across the hall.

***Yet another chapter…much more drama next time I promise.***
