How To Talk?
“Are you sure you wanna talk to her, Peter?” Dr. James asked the young man in front of
him in his office that morning.
“Of course I'm sure. She must be an amazing girl. I really wanna talk to her…”
Peter answered eagerly.
“Well…” Dr. James began to scratch his bald head. “But, she's… she's
a sociopath. She could be… a little dangerous,” Dr. James stated.
“Uh, yeah… I… I know about that. But… but I really wanna meet her. Her
painting is so good. I wanna know more about her…” Pete said in eager and a bit shaky
“Fine, if you really want to. I'll ask Julie to bring her here…” Dr. James
surrendered at last and called Julie though his phone.
“But, if she hit you or maybe do another thing that kinda same… just scream or call
Tom. He'll be outside with Ryan,” Dr. James said before he got up and got out. “I'll
leave you two…” Then he's really out.
“What the hell does that bald-man want? I've done my session with him!!” A grumble heard
from outside Dr. James' office.
“Well, Bella. I don't know…” A woman's patient voice could be heard right behind
Then, a girl with short jet black hair and a woman with strawberry blonde hair entered the room. The
girl was wearing a black T-Shirt with white hoodie and also black pants. And the woman was wearing
the hospital's nurse uniform.
“Just wait him here. He'll be back in minute…” The woman who knows as Julie said
to the girl that named Bella. But, Bella didn't response. She's just staring suspiciously at the
“So, Mr. Rock-star, you're sent to this mental hospital at last?” Bella asked with smirk
then she sat down right in front of Peter. Peter kinda shocked.
“What… do you mean??” Peter asked dumfounded.
Bella just rolled her eyes.
“You have bipolar disorder but you never got sent to this fucking hell
hole…” Bella said as it was the most common statement.
“Well… about that…” Peter couldn't snap Bella's statement. He's just kept
on quiet. Bella then walked to Dr. James' desk and picked the teddy bear up.
“It's not fair, right, Mr. Teddy? He's free from here because he's famous…” Bella
said to the teddy bear by using her baby voice.
“Dr. James said I don't need to stay in here…” Peter mumbled. Bella looked at him
by using her sight. And then she left out a chuckle.
“But actually that's maybe your manager or whoever asked him to. So, your band and your career
won't be going down. And this hospital doesn't need paparazzi pretend to be crazy to stalk
you…” Bella sneered. Pete gulped. He's really shocked right now.
Pete still stayed quiet while Bella played with the teddy bear.
“Well, I actually came here to give you this…” Peter said to break the thick
silence in the air. Bella looked up from his teddy.
“You won the painting competition that held by me and my label…” Peter gave the
trophy to Bella. Bella just looked at it and then looked back at Peter.
“Am I winning this shit because I'm from this fucking mental hospital?” Bella asked
still looked at Peter. Peter tensed up. He didn't think that the girl that he gotta meet was like
“Uh, no… I don't know that you're from here anyway. I know it until I asked my manager
to check it because you didn't come to the party…” Peter answered. Bella smirked.
“So, you decided to bring it here by yourself?” Bella asked again and push the teddy
bear away. She began to look at Peter right in his eyes.
“Yes. And I actually wanna know you more because I really like your painting. I think you must
be an amazing girl…” Peter stated.
“Are you disappointed?” Bella asked again. Peter shook his head no. Bella chuckled
“You're lying…” She hissed and then back to the teddy bear. She began to talk
with that brown teddy bear. Mumbling something like, ”Everybody is disappointed with
me…” or “Well, I let them down again…”
Peter then catch a sight of Bella's hand that tattooed with bunch of beautiful flower. Without
hesitation and forgetting that the girl in front of him was a sociopath, Peter rushed beside
Bella and touched her hand.
“This is so beautiful. Did you do this by yourself? Or maybe… where did you make
this?” Peter asked eagerly while holding and looking at Bella's hand. Bella quickly push Peter
hard until he fell on the hard linoleum floor.
“Don't. Ever. Fucking. Touch. My. Hand!!” Bella jeered right in front of Peter's face.
Peter looked at her shocked.
“Are you okay Peter??” Dr. James entered the room right after Peter fell on the floor.
Peter just nodded and helped himself up still looking at Bella.
“Did you catch traffic jam from the bathroom?” Bella sneered sarcastically to Dr. James.
“Julie… brings her back to her room…” Dr. James commanded.
“What? You're the one that asked me here and now you just send me back to that hole? You're
wasting my time!!” Bella growled before Julie patiently dragged her back to her room or maybe
hole according to her.
“Are you okay?” Dr. James asked Peter again. Peter just nodded. Dr. James exhaled.
Peter then got out from Dr. James' office. He began to running his long fingers to his jet black
hair. The same color with Bella's hair.
“Thank you anyway…” Bella surprisingly stood up on the corner and smirked. Then
she stepped away.
Peter began to smiling to himself and then he's running back to Dr. James' office.
“Anything more you need Peter??” Dr. James asked the grinning sheepishly Peter.
“May I talk to her again another day?” Peter asked eagerly. Dr. James looked at him
