Gag Me.
By SteffiSevenfold

Wow, I thought. That woman's beautiful.

She stood on the street curb, attempting to hail down a taxi.

I walked to her and when the taxi stopped, I went to open the door like I didn't see her there.

I said, Oh, I'm sorry. Here, Then I opened the door for her. She smiled at me and scooted into the cab, peeking out the window at me.

“You can jump in and get a ride, too.”

I smiled sweetly at her and said my thanks, sliding coolly into the cab.

We were speeding down Forth and Lexington and I took a few quick peeks at her.

I turned my nose up in distaste as a strange smell washed over me.

I shrugged it off and thought about how her sleek blonde curls waved just perfectly around her porcelain smooth face.

I thought of how clear blue here eyes were, like the sky. How perfect and pouty her lips were, just the right amount of lip gloss added.

That smell again. I shrugged it off.

Her body looked so good in that royal blue satin dress, flowing gracefully about her knees.

Her silver heels with the small jewels shined about her feet.

Her silver and black small hand purse completed the style.

She peeked over at me and gave me a cute, flirty smile.

I smiled back, nodding my head nonchalantly.

I extended a hand to her. “Hi. I'm Matt. And you are?”

She shook my hand with one of her dainty hands. Perfectly manicured nails and beautiful white teeth.

That smell wafted about again.

“Hey there. I'm Jessica.”

Flirty smile. Flirty body language.

She brushed her hair behind one of her ears and that smell took over.

I sniffed in her general direction, as if I was simply a bit sick and had to catch my runny nose.

It was definitely in her direction.

Maybe it was the cabby?

But the whole taxi would stink.

She shifted around in her seat and fluttered her hands around like she didn't know what to do. I gagged.

It was definitely her.

The more I sniffed, the more it smelled.

Gagging me with a sock is preferable to her perfume streamlining through my nostrils.

Maybe she thinks it evasive, smoldering?

Not while we share the same taxi cab, hun, I thought vilely.

My eyes watered. This was a smell I simply couldn't get used to.

I cranked the wheel on the inside of my door and opened my window.

A simple gesture, I think.

Maybe this girl was raised motherless, for shouldn't she have been taught not to store pluming flumeage in a bottle?

Very short one shot.

Again, thought up off of my friend's poems. This happens. It sucks.

I've been in a one-shot kind of a mood, so sorry if I don't update my `Nightmares' for y'all.
