So Do You Believe Me Now
By Jesica

A/N The lyrics are Do you believe me now by Jimmy Wayne. Great song by the way. Hope you enjoy. And sorry if the lyrics are slightly wrong. Please review

I sat around the apartment, going through old boxes. Old memories, old photographs, anything and everything that made me smile, that made me cry. I ran across pictures from when our band was together I chuckled as I went through them. I laughed as I found old high-school yearbooks. I sighed heavily, all the memories. The good and the bad and there all apart of what makes me who I am, I read that somewhere, I just don't remember where. I shrugged, and opened another box. Pulling out old random silly things, and stuff from the fans, I chuckled slightly turning crimson as I pulled at the measuring tape type thing, and saw my name with a question mark. I laughed. I looked back in the box it was completely empty except for a shoebox, marked don't open. I smirked, and opened it anyway. Raising an eyebrow as I did, the only content in it was a DVD, no scratches, no marks, not even a label. I ran my fingers through my hair what the hell was this.
I put it in, sat on the couch, and pressed play. When your face appeared on the screen, with mine I wasn't filming it .
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYRO.” I kissed him on the cheek.
“Best birthday ever,” He said throwing his arms around me.
I watched, as the party continued I remembered that night, all to well. I was glued to the screen watching as that perfect smile glided across your face. You had ran off with another guy, he was so much prettier than I was, he was smart, and most defiantly perfect. His perfect dirty blonde hair laying in his face, his perfect blue eyes looking into yours, his perfect smile, his perfect words that made you laugh the most playful laugh. Tears were dancing, gracefully, down my face. I remembered walking into the kitchen with you, I told you I didn't like the way he was looking at you, and you disagreed saying he wasn't causing any harm. I told you I hated the way he made you laugh, and you got mad, you told me I shouldn't get so jealous, you told me I was imagining things. But if you could see you maybe then you would've understood. I rewound the DVD to when you opened the present from him freezing the screen there was the look, the way he was looking at you, the proof is all right here. I pressed play.

Do you remember

the day I turned to you and said i didn't like the way he was looking at you

yeah

How he made you laugh

you just couldn't get what I was saying

it was my imagination

I got up from the couch, I couldn't bare it no longer, I walked to the window and stared out it, leaving the DVD to play, I could hear it, over the rain pounding on the window. That's how I feel, like the rains pounding down on me and I'll never be able to see sunlight again. I sighed closing my eyes, my eyelashes warm and wet, my face still hot, and tears still rolling. Your probably laying in his arms right now all the way across town. And you told me I was imagining things, you said I was crazy. But I guess I wasn't, I was right, and for the first time you wrong. I sighed wishing for your comfort and warmth, telling me it all be okay baby.

So do you believe me now

I guess I really wasn't that crazy

and I knew what i was talking bout

Everytime the sun goes down

he's the one that's holding you baby

yeah me i'm missin you way across town

so do you believe me now

I shook my head, we had been fighting off and on. I cried harder, I should have kept you closer, how had I given him a chance to slid in between us. How had I given him a chance to break me down at a moment of weakness. And pick you up higher than ever. If only I had been stronger, I could have held my ground, then maybe you would have stayed.

I'm kicking myself

for being the one foolish enough giving him the chance to step in my shoes

ohhh

He was biding his time

when he saw our love was having a moment of weakness

he was there between us

But I couldn't and you didn't. Your in his arms tonight, and every other day of your life. He's the one that's kissing you goodnight. And waking up to your beautiful face in the morning. And you thought I was crazy, when I told you I didn't like the way he was looking at you. I closed my eyes, listening closely to the sound of your laughter on the TV. He had just told another joke, and you once again laughed along. I was the only one who made you laugh like that. I was the only one that made you happy like that. I hit the glass, hard enough for it to crack my god, why had I been so stupid.

So do you believe me now

I guess I really wasn't that crazy

and I knew what i was talking bout

Every time the sun goes down

he's the one that's holding you baby

yeah me i'm missin you way across town

so do you believe me now

The fight began to play once more. One hand slid threw my hair and down to my side, the other propped up against the window still balled in a fist. I bet you know what I'm talking about now, I but you now that I was right and you were wrong.

oh yeah i bet now you see the light

oh yeah what's the use in being right

when I'm the lonely one tonight

Tears, were coming on controllable I hit the window again hoping it would shatter and I'd fall out. But it didn't, the grass cracked slightly breaking. It cut my skin, and warm pools of blood slid down my arms, as the salty tears lightly graced my lips making there presents known. I missed you so much, why did I have to stumble across that box. But my conscious replied. Because you were looking for him, hoping that in these pictures, it would take you back to a place when your heart wasn't broken, and your smiles weren't fake. It would take you back to when you were happy, when you lived life to it's fullest and nothing held you back cause you knew if you fell he'd be right there to catch you saying, don't give up Brenny-bear try it again.

So do you believe me now

I guess I really wasn't that crazy

and I knew what i was talking bout

Every time the sun goes down

he's the one that's holding you baby

yeah me i'm missin you way across town

so do you believe me now

I fell to the floor, the rain falling harder, I pulled my knees to my chest, leaning against the wall, blood soaking into my jeans, and mixing with tears. How could I let him be holding you, I wish you'd just walk through that door, and say I was just kidding, I was just playing around, I wanted to know you still loved me. My phone began to ring as the DVD came to an end, I didn't move, the window was broken, and the wind was blowing through slightly. I whispered so do you believe me now. In hopes that maybe my voice would travel on the wind and bring him back home. But only knowing it wouldn't

yeah

so do you believe me now

yeah

Everytime the sun goes down

he's the one that's holding you baby

yeah me i'm missin you way across town

so do you belive me now

I slowly stood up, walking to the DVD player and grabbed the DVD. I sauntered towards the bathroom, setting the DVD behind the the sink knobs. I looked into the mirror, wiping the blood from my fists I scrawled SO DO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW?!?! , across the mirror with an arrow pointing down to the DVD. I sighed heavily, grabbing the gun from the drawer, you gave it to me, and told me to only use it when you weren't there to protect me, from the dangers of the world. So where are you know when the biggest danger to me is myself. I put the gun to my head, and pulled the trigger.
