Rating K+/ PG

Genre General

Legalities These are my babies, but I doubt anyone will want to snatch them.

Mission Summary A lesson in absolution: Alahandra can't say she doesn't deserve whatever the `lower class' girls may do to her, but that doesn't mean she'll accept it without a fight.

Mission Statistic Warnings None I can think of.

Mission Status Report One-shot.

Pre-Mission Briefing These are some of my Beauregard girls at work, and though they attend the same school as the other kids I've been writing about and also attend during the same period of time, they're minor characters in DLL. This is them in their own story for DLL's sister storyline, Beauregard.

End briefing-Begin Document

Alahandra plans to make due with the copious amount of free time she finds herself presented with this evening by lying on her bed and staring at the faint arches of the ceiling beams. For once, a soir?e at the Montrose House doesn't interest her and with Lily and Nerissa no where to be found on this lovely Friday evening, Alahandra doesn't really find a night in the Vale shopping an exciting prospect. So she's back where she'd begun when the sun first vanished, staring at the ceiling beams and considering crossing campus to the House after all.

She's interrupted from a light doze (she doesn't remember feeling sleepy earlier, strange) when she hears a low giggle just outside her open door. She sits up and strains to hear the soft whisper busily chattering amidst the giggles, then tilts her head a tad when Allyn LaCross and Regan Weiss stop just in front of the door, stuffed backpacks slung over their shoulders- Allyn with another in hand, and staring straight at Alahandra.

"Are you two planning on... harassing me?" Alahandra asks while maintaining her dignified voice. She can't say she doesn't deserve whatever the “lower class” girls may do to her, but that doesn't mean she'll accept it without a fight.

Allyn has the gall to snort a laugh as she flips the lightswitch up in Alahandra's room and tosses the third pack on an empty bed.

"Chill out," she says dismissively, waving her hand for emphasis, "Me and Regan want you to come with us."

Alahandra's eyebrows screw together in confusion.

"Me?"

"Yeah, you," Allyn replies and makes herself comfortable on the bed of Alahandra's missing roommate. She gestures for Regan to come further into the room.

Allyn continues, "We're going to go egg the boys' dorms, TP the football field, and maybe even piss off people in town."

Her face is entirely even as she speaks, much to Alahandra's disbelief, but more shocking than LaCross's brazen proposition of vandalism is Regan, still in the doorway, nodding as Allyn outlines their planned night out. The buggy Weiss girl is one Alahandra has never pegged for condoning misconduct. But Weiss has a small history of surprising Alahandra, anyway, and at the moment there are more pressing matters at hand.

"You plan to frame me for this, don't you?" the upperclassman accuses. That has to be it, that has to be the only reason Allyn, the girl Alahandra spent the first two years of their time together at Beauregard relentlessly ridiculing, is inviting her along for a night of "fun."

Allyn must expect this response, though, as a slow smile creeps across her face. There's no malice in the expression, to Alahandra's surprise.

"Nah," the blond girl responds, "I just think we should start over. So you coming, or not?"

Alahandra considers this as she stares at the bag on her roommate's bed. She closes her eyes for a moment and feels a strange release as she opens them again and allows herself to smile in return.

"Alright," she finally answers, "Let's deface some public property."

End Document

Post-mission analysis I just write whichever scenarios come to mind, regardless of their order in the actual story… So I'll eventually post the pieces in between this and the other Beauregard piece I have on here.
