Rose,
Daisy,
Forget-me-Not

By K@mik@ze K@tie

Rose, Daisy, Forget-me-not

Rose, Daisy, Forget-me-not

The Rose the Daisy and the Forget-me-not,

Should be the symbolic flowers of our nation,

The Rose, The Daisy and the Forget-me-not,

Symbolize our creation

The rose so red,

For the blood shed

On foreign shores and shores closer to home,

For the blood that was shed,

By the names read,

On the Vietnam memorial stone

A rose for love of our country above,

The shining sees which we call our land,

And the love that is shone,

For their home,

By every military woman and man.

The Daisy so white,

Brings memory of the lights,

That the liberty statue shows,

And on the face of every American Glows.

For the POWs who were lost at war,

Both those who made it home or died,

To comfort the family and the friends,

Who when taps was played had cried.

Forget-me-not for the veterans,

Who defended our country on foreign and domestic shores,

Who will protect our freedom to the end,

And will forever more

For those who fight wars everyday,

Some win and some lose,

For the immigrants everyday,

Who come to America choose.
