Lady Liberty
By K@mik@ze K@tie

To everyone that will listen to me,

LADY LIBERTY

To everyone that will listen to me,

I shall tell the tale of Lady Liberty,

Lady Liberty was First Seen at the Start of the Revolutionary War,

She had never been known of or seen before.

She wore a dress of Red White and Blue,

With a colonial flag to show her Patriotism true.

No one ever heard her say a word,

But one glance at her figure and you could be sure it was her.

She was seen on the battlefields,

Of battles lost and won,

She fought for America,

She needed no gun.

She had icy blue eyes that held a cold stare,

Where ever America was concerned,

She would be there

When American soldiers lay Dying,

On the bloody battlefield red,

She walked among them silently,

Comforting them as they went to their death.

She's always with Patriots,

Though she is not always seen by our eyes,

She watches over the country,

She has been with every patriot,

That has ever lived and/or died.

She watches with cold hard eyes,

As one of America's flags is disrespectfully burned,

She stands with no emotion, but inside she weeps

She wishes that Patriot's would love their country to keep

She follows our Soldiers,

As they go over seas,

She gives them the courage,

To do their patriotic duties

She has always been there,

From the very Start,

And she always lives on,

In Americas' hearts

She will live on with America,

She will never die,

Because you see, Lady Liberty,

Is not human like you or I.

Lady Liberty is an idea,

A hope,

A spirit,

She is more than human.

Wherever there is something wrong in America,

She tries to clear it.

Lady Liberty will be there,

Always and forever,

Her Patriotism will die in never.

So when you see an American Soldier,

Bleeding on the battle field,

Know that Lady Liberty is there,

And gives him the courage not to yield.

Remember Lady Liberty can not always be seen,

But to America,

Lady Liberty is a patriotic queen.

With her Lady Liberty,

Long America will live on,

Be in our hearts,

When the battles are done.

Be in our hearts,

When our soldiers die,

Be with the families,

And your citizens who cry

Here Lady liberty,

Forever Stands,

Filling our Hearts with Pride,

For American Land

You See Lady Liberty,

Is not human like you or I,

She is a patriotic Spirit,

And she never will die.

The Spirit was born,

At the start of our Revolutionary War,

Before that time,

She was never really actually seen before.

But Lady Liberty,

Isn't a human like you or I,

She is a Patriotic Spirit,

Who Never Will Die
