A/N: Hello! Well, this is my first Frikey....it's a one-shot....go easy on me.

"Well, I don't wanna leave him alone. If I do, I know he'll run off somewhere," Ray scowled, looking at Bob with almost fury, though talking to Gerard.

"What the fuck, Babe? I told you I wouldn't go anywhere," Bob reasoned. Both Ray and Gerard looked at him skeptically. "Okay, fine, I have a tendency to wander. Why can't I just go with you?"

"Seriously, Bobby?" Ray said, placing a hand on Bob's cheek. "You really expect me to bring you into a locker room full of other boys changing? And besides, you know I'll never be able to get dressed with you standing there watching me," Ray grinned.

The three of them were in their school's marching band, and all the band members were currently getting into the band uniforms to march in a parade in about an hour. However, Ray, the lead trumpet player in the band, had brought his boyfriend Bob along with him. Ray now had to change, but refused to leave Bob by himself, knowing that he would leave because, truth be told, he didn't want to be there. And of course, he couldn't go into the locker room with Ray while he changed; their band director would forbid it, and even id he wouldn't, they would get too distracted and Ray would never be able to change. So, the question now was, who would keep Bob occupied and not running out of the building while Ray changed into his uniform? This was exactly why they were consulting Gerard, another band member who played the trombone.

"Okay, so who are you gonna leave him with?" Gerard asked, slightly annoyed because he felt that Ray was overreacting.

"Nobody pretty, that's for sure!" Ray said, chuckling but with no humor. Ray and Gerard pondered, Bob simply standing by waiting for instructions, since he did not have knowledge of the pretty and....not so pretty members of the high school marching band. Suddenly Ray had an idea. "What about Mikey?"

Gerard's eyes lit up. "Yeah! I mean, I know he's my little brother and all, but the kid's not the nicest thing to look at."

"Exactly," Ray agreed. "He's just so....awkward! Plus he's got major confidence issues, so he won't go making any moved on my Bobby," Ray smiled at Bob. "I mean, seriously, Gerard! How the hell are you two brothers? You're so pretty and he's so....well, not."

The three of them laughed at Mikey's lack of beauty, unaware that Frank, lead piccolo player and Mikey's ex-boyfriend, was within hearing range. Frank was just leaving the locker room when he heard the conversation going on just outside of the door. To be completely honest, the topic at hand infuriated him, and without even considering why it did, he bolted out of the locker room to confront his friends.

"Shut the fuck up, Toro!" he shouted, looking up at Ray as the three stopped laughing. "Mikey Way is the most beautiful thing to grace this fucking marching band, you're blind if you don't see that, and I swear to God if you ever say anything otherwise again, I'll punch you in the fucking face!"

"What the fuck, Frank?!" Gerard began. "You guys broke up last year!"

"That doesn't mean shit!"

Gerard sighed. "Okay, let me rephrase that. You broke up with him last year. What's the point of having an ex if you can't laugh at their flaws every once in a while?"

"Exactly, Frank," Ray intervened. "And again, you dumped him. Why the fuck does it bother you so much that your friends are poking fun at him?"

Frank remained silent as realization hit him like a ton of bricks. He didn't respond, just ran in the other direction in search of the tall, skinny boy he had dated the year before, eventually finding him in the band room fixing something on his baritone horn. Mikey looked up and, upon seeing Frank, visibly blushed and put his head down. It was common knowledge among the band members that Mikey was absolutely shattered when Frank had broken up with him the year before. It was also common knowledge that he had never really gotten over him, and that it broke his heart a little more every time he saw the shorter boy.

"Oh....hey Frank," he said sadly, continuing to work on his instrument.

Frank stopped, suddenly realizing he hadn't known what he was going to say to Mikey once he found him. He snuck up behind Mikey, and when the tall boy turned around, he yelped and practically jumped three feet in the air.

"Jesus, Frank, warn a guy, would ya?" he said, putting his hand over his rapidly beating heart.

Frank laughed lightly. Mikey had not changed one bit since they had dated. He looked up into Mikey's eyes. "You're beautiful, Mikes, you know that?"

Mikey's heart shattered a bit more, remembering when Frank used to say that to him just before he would kiss him. He struggled to hold back the tears.

"Um....thanks?" He smiled dryly and cursed at himself as a tear escaped his eye. Frank took the opportunity and cupped Mikey's cheek in his hand as he used a thumb to wipe away the tear. He then brought his face closer to Mikey's, their breath ghosting on each other's lips before Frank gently brought their lips together.

The kiss only lasted a moment before Frank pulled away, eyes closed.

Mikey sighed sadly. "Great. Now we're gonna be friends again for a few weeks, and then you're gonna disappear again for a few weeks, only to start the cycle again, huh Frank? Just like always, right?" Venom laced his words and it stung Frank to know that Mikey resented him this much.

"No, Mikey, I..." he paused. "I...I want you to be mine again. You're beautiful, Mikey, and I'm sorry I didn't realize how much until now."

Mikey smiled almost sadly. "Why the sudden change of heart?"

Frank smiled back. "I just realized that I've been blind for a really long time."

He laughed and kissed Mikey's lips again.

A/N: It's currently....3:23 AM, and I'm very sleepy, so I'm sorry if this was total shit. But I had to write it down, and my half-asleep mind said, "Hey, why not write your first Frikey at the same time?" And voila, this is what came of it.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
