***Thanks to everyone who reviewed. I'm glad you all liked it. Sorry I haven't updated in a long
Alana shook me awake. I opened her eyes slowly. “Morning.” Alana said.
“How was the party?” Alana said quietly.
“It was fun. Have fun with Jeff?”
“Yeah. I really like him.”
“Do you think he likes you?” We were still talking quietly, careful not to wake Seb.
“I don't know. Maybe. Do you have a thing for Seb? You two seem pretty cozy together.”
“No.” I smiled down at Seb. Alana has no idea who I liked. If she did she'd probably
kill me. I thought.
Seb's eyes shot open. He sat up. “What's going on? Why'd you scream?”
“Nothings going on.” I said. Alana smiled.
“Then why'd you scream?” He said looking at me.
“Cause she scared me.” I said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Alright.” He said. He laid back down, and put his hand to his head.
She laughed. “Well that's what you get for drinking.” Alana has never even so much as
touched a can of beer. She thinks that it's pointless and stupid. Although she never tried it, but I
don't ask her about it though because I assume she has a good reason to think that.
“Want some aspirin?” I asked Seb. He nodded. I got up, and went to the bathroom. I
searched through the cabinets till I found some Advil. I took two out of the bottle. I brought them
to Seb. He swallowed them without water.
“We have to go to the mall! I really need some new clothes.”
“Okay.” I said. I don't really need any clothes, but its always fun just to go shopping
for no good reason.
After we were done shopping we went to my house. I dumped my bags on the bed. And she dumped her
bags out on the desk. This was our tradition, to look through all our clothes again after we bought
I piled all my clothes onto a neat pile on my bed. Alana started shoving them back in her bags.
“We didn't buy that much.”
“You didn't, but I did. Since when are you so picky anyways?”
Since I got a crush on Chuck Comeau. “I don't know.” I said. I really didn't know
what else to say. Alana just shrugged and said. “Well that's not normal for you my dear. Lets
go do something with our boys.”
I laughed. “And Janelle.”
“Yeah. Lets invite them over for movie night or something.”
“Okay.” I said. I knew Alana's parents wouldn't care because she has friends over
practically every day. And plus they're at work half the time.
About twenty minutes later we were all there. Alana, Jeff, and David were all on the floor. Seb was
on one couch, and I was on the other one with Janelle. We decided to watch the house of wax. We all
loved that movie.
About half way through the movie I noticed that Sebastien was gone. “Where's Seb?” I
whispered to Janelle.
She scanned the room quickly. “I don't know.” She whispered back.
“I'll go find him.” I said and got up. I went downstairs. I looked out the window and I
saw Sebastien sitting outside. He was talking on his phone. I opened the door. He didn't notice. I
closed it quietly. I snuck up behind him and gave him jumper cables. He screamed, and whipped around
to face me. I smiled innocently.
“It was just Kahlen.” He paused. “I'll call you back later.” He laughed.
“Hey.” I smirked. “Who were you talking to?”
“My brother.” He said then sat back down. I sat next to him.
“What? Yeah. I was just thinking.”
He blushed. “This girl I know.”
“Oh.” I said slightly disappointed. I really wanted to know who he liked.
“Wanna go back inside, and watch the movie?” Sebastien asked after a few moments of
“Sure.” I said. Sebastien got up. I held my hands out like a helpless child. He smirked
then pulled me up. We went upstairs and sat on the couch next to Janelle.
After we were done watching the movie Sebastien and I walked home. He lives a few houses down from
me, and we live two or three blocks from Alana's house.
“Bye Seb.” I said then hugged him.
“Bye.” He said and hugged me back. I let go of him, and walked off toward my house.
“Kahlen wait!” Seb said and I spun around.
“Um…what are you doing tomorrow?”
“Um.” I paused to think.
“Nothing I don't think.”
“Do you maybe want to come to my house tomorrow? To hang out, and stuff.”
He sounds really nervous. “Yeah sure. When should I come over?” I asked.
“Um. Whenever you wake up. We could have a movie day.”
“Okay! We haven't had one of our movie days in a long time!”
“Yeah it's been awhile.” He smiled.
“Is it just gonna be me and you?”
“Good. I haven't spent time with just my Sebby in a long ass time.” He smiled.
“Well I'll see you tomorrow.”
“Bye.” I said then turned away from him to go to my house.
