Imperfections
Author: KaycieKINS<33
Band/Pairing: Fall Out Boy; Peterick
Note: My friend Kat always says the quote 'Your imperfections make you perfect' so I guess part
of the credit for this idea goes to her.
Disclaimer: I don't own FOB, I don't know them. This is purely fiction, thank you.

Pete sat silently on the bed watching as Patrick desperately attempted to fit into an old pair of
jeans.

"Goddamn it." he mumbled as the pants finally pulled over his stomach, he buttoned them and
looked into the mirror.

"You look great." Pete smiled.

Patrick rolled his eyes, "No I don't. I need to diet, or go anorexic, ugh... maybe I could
exercise."

"You're not fat." Pete replied defensively.

"Yeah, I am. Have you not seen me before?" Patrick poked his stomach "Check it out, my finger
disappears behind the all the nasty-ness." He poked his stomach again for Pete to see.

Pete sighed and stood up beside his friend, "You're stupid, Trick. I think you look great."

Patrick looked in the mirror again then faced back towards Pete, "It doesn't matter, I think I
look flawed, I think I look imperfect, I think..."

Pete pressed his lips against Patrick's, interrupting Patrick's insecure rambling.

After they broke apart Pete smiled, "Your imperfections make you perfect."
