New friends and a new beginning
By xmcr.fob.patdx

Millions of thoughts rang through my head. Dead? How could I be dead! I was only 23 I had years in front of me! Gerard obviously saw the shocked look on my face and said “You don't remember me coming for you?” “No I remember, but I didn't know you where killing me!” I screeched. “No… I didn't kill you. The man that crashed his car into you did that. I was merely doing my job, bringing you here and to ask you an important question. “Will you join the Black Parade?” He said gripping onto my shoulders.

“Yes.” I said. Why did I do that? I didn't even know what it was. It just came out. Gerard smiled. “Then welcome to the Black Parade!” he called throwing his hands up in the air. Then suddenly I noticed thousands of people around me. They all wore black just like me. “This is the Black Parade?” I asked. “Yes, and I… I lead it.” Gerard said.

He gestured for me to walk on to the stage. I did. I noticed there were some men there which I hadn't noticed before. The one with the glasses also stood there. “I would like to introduce you to my best friends.” Gerard said putting his hand round my shoulder.

“Mikey, my brother.” He said pointing to the man with brown hair and glasses. “Frank the short guy, the man with the afro is Ray and Bob well he's just Bob really.” Gerard finished. “Well, thanks.” Bob said sarcastically.

Gerard grinned. “Oh and guys, this is Ashley.” He said. They all smiled sweetly at me and said hello. I smiled back. I didn't know death would be like this. It's like… a second life. I know this sounds weird but… I think I'm really going to like it here, I like being dead. I had made new friends, I didn't hurt anymore. I noticed Gerard still had his arm round my shoulder, this was some way comforting.

People around where pitching up tents. “Oh Ashley, you don't mind sharing a tent with someone do you? Her name is Hannah, she's my sister.” Gerard said. “Our sister.” Mikey corrected. “Right, our sister.” “Sure.” I said.

Hannah's P.O.V

I had to get my tent ready for a new girl, Ashley I think they called her. The guys will be bringing her any moment. They said they wanted me to take care of her. Make her feel welcome. I knew that Gerard had been watching this girl for quite a while now, so obviously she was something of importance.

I was busy pitching my tent when I heard someone cough behind me. I turned to see the guys and Ashley. I smiled “Hi, Welcome to the Black Parade! I'm Hannah.” I ran to her and hugged her. “Thanks, I'm Ashley.” I was glad to have someone new to talk to, a new friend. Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray and Bob where often busy so I was always alone. I let Ashley go. She just smiled.

“Okay, where going to leave you two gorgeous ladies to get acquainted.” Gerard said. Gerard kissed Ashley's cheek. I looked over to Ashley and noticed she was blushing. Gerard gave me a kiss as did Frank, Mikey, Bob and Ray. Me and Ashley then retreated to our tent.
