Of Montreal and Marriage Proposals
By Crayola

Title: Us

Rating:G-PG

Pairing: Gerard x Frankie

Genre: Slash, Fluff

Summary: They all expected you to be gothic and dismal…but you weren't. You were happy, atleast when you were with me.[[Gerard x Frakie, G, FLUFF]]

A.N: …Fluff. PURE FLUFF. Mixed with refrances. The song in question is `Du Og Meg' by Of Montreal, which has the lines “She fell in love with a boy / who spoke a second language / And who lived across the ocean / in the evil empire / He awoke her sleeping heart / and swept away the darkness / An acute fear of flying / couldn't keep her away”. The idea of Gerard singing it is cracking me up so I'll shuddup.

Disclaimer: I am a poor, lonely little girl with a cold, stuck at home with condensed soup, Pepsi & the internet. All I own is the plot. I wish no harm to ANYONE, I SWEAR. THIS IS FICTION. MEANING IT'S FAKE.

{xxx}

No one truly knew you.

They all expected you to be gothic and dismal…but you weren't. You were happy, atleast when you were with me.

You'd sit on the couch, with me on the floor, insisting you braid my hair and telling me to sing to you. It was always some weird song I never expected you to like. Today it was this freaky one you heard on the internet, about some bilingual boy and a girl afraid of airplanes falling in love.

“He told her that he loved her they were married in the summer….” I sang sweetly, you braiding my hair and giggling. The things I do for you.

“I wanna get married.” You commented. I didn't look up.

“To who?”

“YOU!” You laughed, I turned my head and smiled.

“Do you want to?”

You blinked naively. “Wha…?”

“Do you want to marry me Frankie?”

You blinked again, letting yourself realize my proposale. You smile widely, like a child in the candy store.

“Yes.”
