What Have I Done?
By Brianne M.W.

Whenever you break something you feel like breaking everything. Especially if you are caught up in the thoughts of depression and disappointment. And with that in mind, Elijah was here. Standing in the kitchen behind the shattered remains of the man he loved. And he was responsible.
There was that glowing wake of things that shouldn't have been said and words that will never be forgiven. And Elijah simply snapped.
His white fist shot out to the left and fingers closed around a simple glass. With a loud curse he threw it hard against the wall. It shattered with little shards of deadly glass fluttering around the room.
He knew Orlando flinched, felt it rather then saw it, and couldn't help that little surge of satisfaction. And Elijah snapped once more. This time, permanently.
His arms waved back and forth as he pushed plates, glasses, anything that could break onto the floor and listen to them shatter with an almost calming sense of clarity. He was vaguely aware of Orlando calling his name. It didn't matter any longer. He was ready for this release.
At some point he was not aware when tears began a thick downfall of pain and anger. He was sobbing as glass after glass slipped from the cool of his hand and shatter crash fracture along the tile of the kitchen.
And then Orlando was pulling him into warm arms, holding him close as everything around him broke and fell. ``What have I done?'' He muttered into the warm chest. But it was okay. Because, when you break something, you break yourself. But luckily, Orlando was there to put him back together.
