That was a great way to connect the two, very smart connection. I really liked it hun. XO

p.s I Agree, you're super talented and Haylie rambles on too much. 0=)

*Is seeing a theme* Haylie just rocks where reviews are concerned! =)
10 minutes later...

Ok, I agree, the first one was just completely awesome! But this one was good too!! I never thought I'd enjoy war fic's but you have a knack for it!

You're awesome! Can't wait for more of your story's!

Have to agree with Shadz. After Haylie it takes me like 4 minutes sitting here to think of a decent review that is somewhat different from hers.

Poor Jimmy and his sons. It was in the form of a letter which was different. I love how even though Jimmy came home from the war he still was afraid when the soldiers came with his sons' tags. It was great and I love it.
Really good job =)

Ugh see, as soon as Haylie gives her deep, insightful review, there's nothing I
can write that can possibly follow it!

So here comes my lame review that fails in comparison to Haylie's:
This was still good. It had intensity just like the first, but the fact that it was in
a letter toned it down a bit. That doesn't mean it's worse than first, it's just a
different way of describing a similar experience.
I really liked it!
Great job [:

I ramble too much and say all I can think to say - that's why everybody always agrees with me. XD

So I agree this wasn't as good as the first, but I still think it was amazing. It stuck with the themes and the mood of the first one, and was quite a worthy sequel. I like how Jimmy killed himself in the end, the same way that his friend did all those years ago. And I like how, despite the fact that he was in a war of his own and couldn't possibly be scared as easily as any other man, he was still terrified and throwing up when he got the letter about Mikey. And then the change of heart with Gerard...

Great stuff. ;D

*ramble over*
